What makes a bow Mongolian? I'm just starting to research traditional owns, because the compound is becoming so ridiculously routine that there isn't much challenge anymore. Not that I'll stop practicing, but I'd like to get back to some of the basics of archery.

I think size and design makes it mongolian. If I remember my arms history correctly the mongols were the first to use a smaller recurve style bow.
