Gettin' Jiggy With It - Jigged Bone Photos

Great thread, beautiful knives posted by all!. It is a very nice mix of old and new. GEC does do some lovely jigging, however, in my opinion, nothing modern comes close to the beauty of the old bone used by Remington, Cattaraugus, Robeson, Keen Kutter, just to name a few.

On the bottom. Schrade/Kious Reverse Congress. The bone was advertised as 50 years old when the knife was made in 2002.

Charlie, that'd be #151116, from last year's stainless run of 4 standard covers.
It just goes to show you how tastes differ. That is the only GEC knife I've ever gotten rid of. It's not the jigging pattern but whatever dye/coloring they used made the the knife feel as if it was covered in cheap ball point pen plastic.
