Hi Stacy,

Just 2 weeks ago my wife gave birth to our baby girl. She came 3 weeks early and right before we were moving.

I just finished moving everything 2 days ago. I'm hoping to get back on the knife as soon as things settle down. It's been a rough couple of weeks. We have been trying to get a couple hours of sleep whenever we can.

My original intention was to get the blade done before she gave birth but I guess the little one couldn't wait.

Thanks for everything and being so patient. This knife will hold many memories when it's done.
 
Congratulations.

Now that the baby is here you have nothing else to do, right? :)

Take care of the family. The knife will be there when you are ready for it.
 
I have been following this thread. I am at this point. Not sure where to go from here. Do I need to file it or hand sand? I have been using belt sanders.
