Same price as these -- $325 and $375.

But the blade on the new model isn't PVD.

Just ordered a GM2. I'm very excited to see how it stacks up to a Slysz Bowie. In fact, I'm surprised no one has mentioned how similar they were - aside from the handle material, they have very similar dimensions and price.

Very tempting, both the GM2 & the GMF 2. Anyone know the width of the GM2. I think the GM1 probably was too "pocket large" for me. If the GM2 is similar in that regard, it'll be much easier to pass up (and I'm trying really hard to find reasons for passing on this). Are there pictures of the knife in hand or in comparison to other knives anywhere? (Even beside the GM1 would be helpful)

I measured the knife, and its almost identical to the PM2, Im deciding if I want one, but I prefer 3.5" blade length

4.2 cm width. Thanks! That width is a gray zone for me, but given the taper towards the butt, it'll probably cary ok.

As a point of comparison, here's the Viper Italo (Fabrizio Silvestrelli design) in two versions, CF and all-titanium.

- Like the GM2/GMP2: M390 blade .160 thick, handle milling, rounded flipper tab (hard to see in these photos), rounded spine
- Different from the GM/GMP2: frame lock, wire clip, plain/black backspacer (instead of bronze/blue), no decorative pivot washer, half the price, and… I don't know what to make of this blade shape

Not counting the flipper tab, I would call both the handle and blade 33-34mm at their widest points.
