dear forumites , my easter sunday was ruined by the dishonest dealings of forumite "GIG ONE" aka "JEFF YARBER "he agreed that mayo tnt was mine , after i said i would take it . never at any time did i refuse it . he then proceeded to e mail me and say it went to the next in line . i emailed him immediatly . telling him i had aggreed to his price his refusal to "make right " a wrong is disturbing !!!he proceeded to be smug and taunting me look at the viele ad , i was appalled . i was trying only to resolve the issue . not make more problems . i had asked him for his phone # to call him my dime , he refused - why ?? perhaps he was ashamed of his actions and behavior towards me .i asked him to keep his word to me , even offering to pay MORE MONEY !!! the way to fix this mr yarber is to honor our original deal on the mayo tnt respectfully JAXURMAN

I doubt he is ashamed. I would'nt be and i sure as hell would'nt give a psycho like you my home phone number. Just because you want to buy his knife means that he has to sell it to you?
 
i said that i would buy the knife - he said it was mine . never did i refuse it !!! read his childish taunts in his ads under customs especially on the viele no so bad on the tnt . my rep speaks for itself do a search under JAXURMAN on gbu im very serious in my dealings and dont appreciate those who "play games" . i have done many many transactions with 100%gbu rating . i told him there was a simple fix and yet he scoffed at my suggestion , in fact i offered more money than his asking price . jeff treated me badly !!!:( i told him several times there was a way to fix all this .just be a man of his word and honor our deal !!! so there it is :confused: JAXURMAN

I'm sorry, but Jeff is a stud beyond reproach, and has been long before you showed up here. If there was a misunderstanding, why don't you just suck it up and move on. You are going to lose this public battle.

I've had an excellent day today ! Celebrated the joyous holiday of Easter with my family. While the weather wasn't very cooperative we made the best of it and spent some quality time together.

I do hope that my fellow knife knuts enjoyed a wonderful Easter with their loved ones !

Including jaxurman, whom I definitely don't consider a knife knut ! Ahhh. . .but that's another story.

The other reason that today is such an excellent day. . .I sold several high end custom blades to several excellent and deserving knife knuts. But, due to jaxurmans actions or in-actions he didn't get the knife that he is now demanding.

Oh well ! You're loss and some elses gain jaxurman.

I'm not going to get into the details this evening. . .it's bed time and my day begins at 4 AM. But I will make several comments before I go.

jaxurman I've given you the reason that I didn't give you my home phone # and now I'll tell those who are interested. . .simply,

You're a WACK job !

Remember why I didn't give you my phone # jaxurman ? I'm sure that you don't. . .so I'll post a portion of that e-mail. . .

This is what I'm going to do tomorrow morning. Oh, the TNT is already boxed up and dressed up with it's addressee label. And a fine looking box holding a Mayo TNT it is ! :D At 9 AM, I'm going to walk into the Post Office and mail the TNT to the addressee.

Hmmm interesting, GigOne has been top drawer for a long time, never a doubt in regards to him.

Jax, check with Tom Mayo, he makes those tnt's and can probably fix you up with one at that very price?

No one here has an 'obligation' to sell anything to anyone if they don't like that person, regardless of that person's 'place in line'...period.

There are a few folks here that I won't do business with, regardless if they answered my 'For Sale or Trade' ad, first, middle, or last...

It's the sellers discretion and peragative, plain and simple. ;)

No one has to sell anyone anything. I have done very little selling here. Not really worth the hassle. If I got the heebie jeebies from someone I would not deal with them even if they have 450 "required" positive posts in the GBU

I've never dealt with Jax, so I don't know a thing about him. Have done one deal with GigOne, and it was perfect. Knife as advertised and no problems. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.

I think Jeff has responded in a class manner to the accusations that are being leveled at him. He doesn't seem to be nearly as upset about the whole deal as Jack.

If Jack has such a vast collection, why is he so carried away over one TNT?

But i'm not a "playa," so I guess I just don't get it. But I do know that I am becoming more and more jaded by Jack's antics. What used to be a comical and rather amusing eccentricity is just getting old.

If I were Jack, I believe I'd drop this and lay low for a while and try to salvage some credibility while there is time. All the positive posts in GB&U aren't going to save his reputation if he continues to make a complete heel out of himself on this deal.
 
Many have joked in the past about this "sickness" that we all have in regards to our knives. I am beginning to wonder after the events that have gone on around here in the past few weeks if in fact there really is something to this! :rolleyes:

If the day comes when I value a knife (or a possible deal) more so than my character, integrity or basic well being, somebody please do me a favor and kick my ass out of here as it would be very apparent that I have a problem.
