We all agreed with you from your original SUMMARY; I don't know why you had to give us all these posts with the detail?
IMHO, this is just beating a dead horse; since he didn't respond back.
No one questioned your reputation or disagreed with you.
Jack did not respond after my first post and most of us hoped this would just die; I think he knows he did wrong.
Many people say he is good to deal with, but too hyper.
He just, WAY over reacted and I hope he learned from this.
Does any more have to be said.

Actually, I was composing my post and talkin' on the phone while you posted, therefore I read your post only after I had hit "submit" on mine. At least it does not look like I'm kissin' Jax ass in my post.
I have NEVER had any dealings with Jack; NEVER.
He made a mistake; let's just see if he's learned from it.
I would defend anyone who is not fighting back.
If he doesn't respond all this is; is a beating we will have to move it to Whine & Cheese.

I had a big fiasco break loose in WC with Jack a week or so back. Jack asked for my phone number to work things out, and I stupidly agreed instead of hashing things out via e-mail or IM. I completely understand your feelings on the foul language, as Jack's phone language was completely terrible. Had he eliminated the use of the "F" word, we could have had that 10 minute talk in 3 minutes.
I don't know you off the forums, Jeff, as we have never traded or dealt with each other. This thread has definitely put you in a positive light, and anyone with common sense can see who to deal with and who to avoid after reading this. You have definately handled yourself very well in this whole situation. I wish I could be as tactful instead of blunt when someone tries to drag my name through the mud.

Only here's the clincher, Jack comes on late...about 3 hours from now I think, and when he does...I'm sure it's going to be the same hateful, mean spirited, spiteful 'Bullsh*t' as always...
Look, we've all given Jack the benefit of the doubt umpteen times, gawd knows, I've defended him countless times...even to you, but this sh*t has got to stop, or Jack has to leave...it's that simple.
I for one, think that Jack's angry ranting posting's are a detriment to the knife community, a disservice to the serious knife enthusiast's here, and we'd all be better off without them (the rants), or him, as he chooses...

I tried dealing with Jaxurman once. I won't deal with him again. He sold a knife out from under me last year.
After he agreed by email that I could have it (including his address), I wrote that I was sending the M.O. the next day, had the envelope addressed and asked him a question to clarify what he meant about the condition of the knife since he had slightly conflicting statements in the Ad.
Instead of answering the question, he wrote back, `Sorry, the knife is Sold'.
