I sent payment for the knife per his instructions and I was waiting for the tracking information and when it did not show up I inquired as to what the status was at which point he told me he had a last minute internal struggle with whether or not he should sell it and asked if I would wait for him to receive another knife that he was acquiring in a week or so and let him use the new knife to make sure he liked it and only then he would make the decision to send me the exo, my exo at this point as I had paid for it. I couldn't believe what I was hearing given that once you put something up for sale and money is transacted and accepted there is no backing out. Aside from being bizarre and extremely frustrating the level of selfishness and entitlement he exhibited was shocking. I couldn't believe that this was an adult I was dealing with. It took several days and this did not have a happy ending. After days he ended up "buying" MY Exo but not for what I wanted. I proposed solutions to fix this issue so that he could have his strange love affair goodbye with his knife and I could get my property from him but to no avail. He backed out of the agreement and to me has no honor or credibility. Be very wary when dealing with this person. He does not seem to care about others or agreements. I've got all of the correspondence to prove it. Good luck

Dis regard I see what report is for I thought that was your response

I just “tagged” him to hear his side as well. I looked at the sales thread and there are no postings I could see from anyone. I’m assuming that it was a PM deal, but would still like to hear his side of the story.

I've the correspondence if you'd like to see it. I don't know if I feel that's appropriate or not but if someone is questioning my take on the situation or my honesty I will do so

Not necessary at this point. :)
I’m not questioning your take…I’m sure this probably happened. And it’s awful.
My tag is for him to “explain his actions,” or “defend the accusation.”

A “bad” thread on someone will greatly affect who will still deal with him. So I like to see what his reaction will be, before I make a decision.

Not questioning your honesty. :)

By all means, please feel free to share the seller in question, correspondence he had with you.

And if I may, I'd like to advise you with this bit of BF wisdom:
Had you been dealing with 10after10, you definitely wouldn't be dealing with none of the crazy bs mentioned in your OP!

If I’m reading correctly, Gilbert G Gilbert G posted a knife for sale, accepted your offer, then after you sent the money he “changed his mind,” held your money hostage for a few days, then gave you a full refund. Is that right?

I did say that because he refused to send me my property that I paid for and he had accepted that he could buy it back for me for more than what I bought it for as people do but he just refunded me my buying price. Whether or not that's moral to ask is questionable, agreed, but I didn't want my money back and wanted my property and if he was to make me part with my property it would have had to have been for more. For me to part with it would have cost more than what I paid for it and because he was in possession of my property I didn't have any say in the matter.

This is the thread I responded to and the persons name used in corresponding with them via email was Ryan waveriderstilldusk@gmail.com
