I’ll have to disagree here. It is considered bad form in virtually all honorable forums to publicly post private messages or emails. They are by definition private. Even if the other guy is a complete scumbag, private correspondence should remain so. Sharing private correspondence with law enforcement - or forum enforcement - is usually acceptable. Regardless, I’m glad the OP got resolution, even if it wasn’t to his liking. He could have ended up with neither his knife nor his money…

I will agree only if it is premature.

Otherwise I vehemently disagree. There have been many felonous scumbags outed on this forum over the years, hopefully sparing many unsuspecting enthusiasts. .

Do a forum search for Heath Heaton.

ETA: Seems you could do a search for Ryan Posey too…but the mods have already done that.

Then consider this place dishonorable and stay out of the gb&u, you won't like what you see. If or when it comes time, nothing is private.
 
If thanks are in order I'd like to offer mine to you all for taking your time to offer some vindication for me and assuming he is a knife enthusiast and not someone who takes out short term loans, real consequence with his removal from this forum. Forum 1, Scumbag 0. Appreciate the community. Refreshing.
 
Side note....Huge silver lining, this morning, 3 venders, Pvk, Tactical Elements and JD Elements (pre-order), had alerted me to available Exos. Purchased the exact spec I wanted at MSRP! Serendipity. All is right with the world again. Well...you get my meaning. Thanks again all.🫡
