Bad GILBERT G Accepted my payment but refused to send my Exo

Well at least you aren't out anything but some time and frustration. I suspect that this seller will find it hard to do business with anyone who reads this thread.

Well, it does violate the first rule for sellers:
1. Be 100% sure that you want to sell the item

If I were to guess, I'd lean harder toward him getting somebody to give him more money than toward him not being sure he wanted to sell...

I did say that because he refused to send me my property that I paid for and he had accepted that he could buy it back for me for more than what I bought it for as people do but he just refunded me my buying price. Whether or not that's moral to ask is questionable, agreed, but I didn't want my money back and wanted my property and if he was to make me part with my property it would have had to have been for more. For me to part with it would have cost more than what I paid for it and because he was in possession of my property I didn't have any say in the matter.

Okay, let's just stop with the confusing "it is my knife" thing. It isn't yours until it is delivered to your address, otherwise you'd also be on the hook if it got lost in the mail, which we all know is not the case. It is the seller's until it is in your hands.

But you are right, gilbert g did F you over. He did break forum rules. He should be punished. I've had him on ignore for quite a while because of how he has handled himself here. Did not pass the vibe check so on ignore he goes. Didn't want to accidentally get involved in a transaction with him and it looks like that feeling was right. I'd suggest other people do the same when they come across someone they get a bad feeling from. The headache is not worth it.
 
Gilbert G has got to be banned. I had a horrible transaction with him. PayPal had to refund my money. I have all screenshots and communication where he admits he took my payment and decided to keep the knife. I reported everything to the mods on this forum with all the evidence. I’m aware of another member that had a horrible transaction with him as well.

Quick recap of my interaction with him. I agree to buy his knife and send PayPal payment immediately. A week or so goes by and no knife has shown up. I now go back to look for a tracking number in PMs and realize he never sent one. I PM him and he tells me he decided to keep the knife. This fact alone is enough to get him banned in my opinion. I tell him I want an immediate refund and he has the balls and audacity to offer me a discount on another knife he has for sale if would like to buy that one from him, (yes let that sink in). I tell him I want a full refund and he tells me he cannot refund for some reason and that I need to create a case with PayPal. Within 5 minutes I was on the phone with PayPal and they told me there’s no reason at all he couldn’t refund me. I had to create a case and Paypal issued me a full refund within minutes of me submitting all the PMs. I can provide all screenshots of PMs.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY!!!!!!! I think the Mods need to take a serious look at this guy and his membership.

So apparently, this is his "thing"?? Sells a knife. The buyer expects tracking. Hmmm, no tracking, no communications DAYS LATER. Then the BUYER has to be the one to reach out and find out what the f**k is going on. Only to be told that he "loves' the knife too much to sell. And can't give refund right away.

I've just sent a PM to Gilbert G Gilbert G and included my colleague Boru13 Boru13 .

I explained that he needs to answer for his actions or face a possible ban from this site if he does not reply in a reasonable amount of time.

Apparently he hasn't been on since Monday, but he will receive notification of my PM. This behavior, if accurate, is unacceptable. (I am not questioning the veracity, but since I haven't reviewed correspondence, I am choosing my words carefully.)
