My girl carries a knife only when we are in the bush for camping or field work or whatever, and when she does she carries whatever i give her, usually my skyline.but i asked for a carson m16 for xmas and wound up with a black g10 tanto m16 with the double flippers that act like a hilt. Not really an edc for me, i prefer tools not weapons. but it fills a certain empty niche in my collection. And its finny that she picked such a mean looking knife with little knowledge of it functionality.

My girlfriend used to play a lot with my fake hinderer... but when I gave it to her, she used to never have it on her. So I started with my old cold steel recon 1 micro and she liked it! Aferward, I got her a Spyderco Dragonfly 2 in orange (she's not the pink type..) and loved it alot. I think it's harder for girls to start carrying knives because of the tight clothing that they wear, but she asked me for a bit bigger for next year and I think that the native 5 will be real good, so don't give up guys

My gf is now carrying a svord mini peasant in hot pink. She liked the black flats and pink handle. The knife isn't threatening at her job, and it is easy to operate as well as being safe as there is no lock to fail or her to be conscious of.

My fiancé is slightly into knives. She currently has a BM mini grip, rat 1, and rat 2 all in pink in the kitchen which she beats the hell out of. I try to keep em sharp and they treat her well. She keeps a full sized USMC kabar on her nightstand. She also has a blacked out spyderco tenacious. She uses the hell out of all of them, from cutting frozen chicken to sharpening those makeup pencil things, no safe queens for her.

My fiancée carries a Kershaw Cryo and on occasion an Ontario Rat 2. She really only picks up the Rat anymore when her Cryo is in for "maintenance". I've tried to get her others but she says the Cryo is perfect.
