Girlfriend Knives

If there is one thing i have learned is that when buying your girlfriend something the least important aspect of the purchase is whether the man finds it useful. Women want what they want. To ask them to justify their reasoning is about as pointless as you trying to justify yours to them. With that said my ex was much easier. As long as it was pink and easy to close she was fine with it.
 
My girlfriend carry these two. One in handbag and the other in a pocket.

Mine out of the blue started wanting a folder. I had ordered a Blur on a whim and she decided that she liked it and ended up with it after one day :) She liked the assisted opening and it was easy to close. Weird seeing her carry a knife after not liking them for so long.
 
My fiancé doesn't carry one on her at all times but when she does she'll normally have her Mora Companion. It normally stays in her cars glovebox except when fishing and shady neighborhoods lol
 
I got my girlfriend a stainless steel leek when she graduated HS a while back, I'll probably get her another knife someday, but she likes her leek, and carries it almost daily, in her pocket no less!
 
My wife actually appreciates a real knife and would be offended if I got her something girly. She does a lot of work on construction joists so her knives gets used and she is a lot tougher on them than I am. She has destroyed a Kershaw Leek and Spyderco Native in S30v, broke the tip off of both of them prying stuff.

Currently she is carrying a Case Trapper Equestrian, which is a very cool knife with a built in hoof pick. She has horses and tends to them daily so the hoof pick comes in handy and is also a stronger prying tool than a knife point. She won't admit it, but I am fairly certain she broke the tip off of both knives prying up paint can lids. The hoof pick is thin enough to fit under the lip of a paint can and much stronger than the knife point, so hopefully she won't destroy this one.
 
I once gave my gf (now my wife) a keychain SAK and she did carry it. She now carries a
5 inch Toothpick in her purse.

My wife carries a combo edge Delica with the ATS 34 steel. Also has Byrd Crossbill in the truck. She wants an Auto Rift so she'll get that shortly...
I wish I could get her to put it in her pocket, but a purse pocket is the best she'll do
 
My fiance uses the Busse combat steak knife at home and carries a leatherman juice and a mini Texas toothpick in her purse.
 
Got my wife a Leek in purple for Christmas. Keeps it in her purse all the time. It replaced a CRKT G10 Drifter. She wasn't a fan of it. The leek is her favorite color and also has some nice lines to it.

Right now she has a mini-grip which she carries in her purse at all times, she won't carry it in her pocket even in jeans as she feels it prints too much. Has been asking for something thinner and an auto as well.
