this is my masterpiece ...so far.

My 2nd place prize (seems 1st rate to me!) arrived today all the way from New Zealand and one very generous guy.

Duncan sent me two beautiful vintage traditional knives: a Case 31048 yeller Slim Trapper from '88, and a Victorinox '100 Year Anniversary' Tinker SAK from '84, both in fantastic condition . The Case is smooth, snappy 'n' spotless, and the like-new SAK has a great "1884 - 1984" inlaid metal emblem on the reverse scale.

Duncan and Sue, your generosity is overwhelming. Thank you very much! You guys are the best.

I received my package from Duncan today and I have a couple great new knives added to my home.

I must apologize for the pics, not my best work. It's really windy today and honestly I wasn't wearing the right clothes so I got chilled quick.
Anyhow, here are a couple pics to share.

I definitely can not wait to go to Blade as many times as I can! I have a feeling I'll get my first custom slipjoint at blade and if I need advice on a purchase I'm sure the company will be fine enough to assist. From what I see each year a good lot of the traditional folk meet there so when you plan on it I'll plan to attend that year.

I was 2 hours from Blade in 2005 but circumstance prevented me going.
