Give-away competition...photo time. WINNERS ANNOUNCED

That Photo is beast, very attractive.

This has been a great thread and with permission I will add to it as time goes on.
Great Job guys

Dang, I got busy. Seems unfair to post a pic I've put up before. Here's me and my girl and my yeller peanut (barely visible) at the lake. ;)
At least it's a new pic, and that peanut cut us some nice 'flags' for our sandcastle.

Hi there, Sue here, Duncan's Knife forum widow. All I can say is Wow! There's some amazing photos in here, this has been so difficult to judge, a lot of time and effort has gone into these photos. Well, I narrowed it down to 16, then 6, then the final two! I just really like the capture of colours in these pictures, simple yet effective. But as I said so many stunning pictures in there to choose from.
The winning photo is:
Johnny Twoshoes - thread # 33, picture 1, the GEC knife with berries
Second place goes to:
Rick - thread # 58, picture 7
AWESOME!! Was a pleasure being judge!

Congrats to the winners. I don't envy Sue for having to pick just two but she did a good job.

Great idea for the giveaway Duncan!! Congrats to the winners and everyone who contributed.

Congratulations to the winners, and kudos to Duncan and all the contributors for the great eye candy!

Wow - I'm truly honored. So many fantastic photos to choose from. It must have been a tough job to pick just two.

Thank you so much, Duncan and Sue for your time, generosity and cleverness in coming up with this excellent thread topic. Congrats to Johnny Twoshoes, and nicely done everyone. This gallery of traditional knife photography has been a real feast for the eyes.

I've always enjoyed photographing knives. There's something about a big, bright 2D image that draws attention to small details, proportions, textures and colors that the eye occasionally glosses over when handling the real thing. Especially when your visual acuity ain't what it used to be. ;)
