giveaway - emerson horseman

I must say this is a very generous gesture. Thank you for doing this.

I have never owned a production emerson. I’ve had a custom piece at one point, but it is a totally different animal and I couldn’t go past the fondling point, never used it and let it go later. Looked at many production emersons, handled a few, but I never pulled a trigger to get one.
I don’t have a very good reason to take advantage of you generous offer, and probably this knife should go to another person, but I would love to give it a good home and workout, if you will choose so :).

Wow. Alot of giveaways. Just feeling generous or did you hit the lotto or something? I'm not entering any of your giveaways even though you are offering up some nice stuff. I just wanted to say that I think it's a good thing you're doing. A very kind thing. I won't enter any of these because I can afford to buy the knives I want, but for folks who can't save during these tough times I really hope that those are the people that will end up winning these giveaways. Those are the ones who will really really appreciate it.

You're a good guy cmbfishing.

This is why I love this forum, so many genuine people!

I have also never owned an emerson and for the most part my tiny collection consists of cheaper folders...I am moving permanently to the US and would utilize a knife like this working my in-laws farm and in the workshop as a machinist. There is probably more deserving of this but I would definately put this knife through its paces in a rural and workshop environment.

i never understood safe queens...then again i never owned a knife worth more then 80bucks ive always wanted to use a expensive knife the way its posed to be used

i have never ownded an emerson, but always wanted and dreamed of owning one, could never afford it.

I'd love to own an Emerson. I've only ever handled my uncle's and I was fairly impressed. I can't afford one, seeing as I'm paying for school right now, but I have a passion for knives and look for affordbale ways to increase my collection.

Recently gave my only Emerson to a friend. I'd love to have one to add to the EDC rotation. Currently I have one main EDC. Thanks for the chance.

I've always wanted an Emerson, and I used to live right up the road from the factory. One of my friends actually dated his daughter! Thanks so much for the opportunity, I will definitely put it to good use should i win!

Do you post to Australia ? Am a horseman and have never owned a Emerson . Does it have a castration blade and hoofpick? If so it would get a work out here and will post photo's back on this forum . After a big thankyou .

I owned an Emerson/Benchmade CQC7 back in the mid '90s that I was fond of and lost. I don't own any knives I don't use. I ride a motorcycle in an urban area, and find The Horseman's unobtrusive nature and 3.5in blade would make a good and handy daily carry blade. Thanks for being kind enough to giveaway this knife. I'm sure it'll find use.

I hear so many people live and swear by Emerson. I do not doubt one bit that they are good but would love to see what gives Emerson their name. I will put my own name on the line if I find a product that I truly believe in. I've convinced several of my friends of how great the XD pistol is (I own 2 myself) and they now own XD's. When I first started collecting knives, I swore by Benchmade and behold, many of my friends now carry Benchamdes. I even went out and purchased a Large Griptillian for my buddy who went on his 3rd tour of Iraq. (He made it back safely and said the knife was a extremely useful in the Sandbox)

Hopefully, I can give the Emerson a try and see for myself first hand what makes this brand so special. If it really is as good as people say, I will be sure that I will spread the word first hand. ;)

I have many knives but no Emerson. I'd like to see what all the fuss (good) is about!

Thanks!

I have never had a Emerson, don't know about the horseman ? I would love to have one please . We have cattle and horses here . Would post some pics for you .

I've never owned an Emerson. Guess it's due to the chisel grinds that they have. I like a few of the designs and have been close to pulling the trigger on one or two but again the chisel grinds always caused me to rethink it.

I'd like to try one out and even try out the wave feature (don't have any knives with a wave, yet). I also don't believe in safe queens, what good is a knife if it's not being used? :D

Thanks for the chance.

this would be my first emerson and I would like to have it to use it, seems to be a great folder.
thanks for the opportunity

Very generous of you! thanks for the chance. I really would love to have an Emerson especially a horseman. I'll pay for shipping to the Philippines if ever i win.

I dont own an Emerson but have always wanted one ever since a delivery guy at work showed me his CQC7 about 10 years ago, I have coveted that thing ever since but never pulled the trigger on getting one.

I've heard good things about Emersons but there is none (nil/zero/nada) here. I would like to have the only Emerson folding blade here :)

Don't have one, but been looking at them for some time and reading all the very positive comments by those who own and love them.
Definitely won't be traded or resold.
Thanks for the chance, most generous of you.
