giveaway - emerson horseman

Like many - been curious about Emersons and this looks like an excellent work knife! Thanks for the opportunity. :thumbup:
 
Don't own a Emerson but have always wanted one but kids medical always comes first. Have a safe but only reserved for guns, knives get used daily!!
 
I have never owned an Emerson, and would really like to give one a try.
If I am selected, I would document and thoroughly review the journey, as it goes with me to work and beyond, including photos and video of use and guest commentary from various sources, including non-knife collecting folks.
It would be a very interesting post to say the least.

I am 19yrs old and live just outside DC. I've been reading this forums for about 2 months but never became a member until now. I have one knife that is a chinese one. My brother in law gave it to me. I've never owned any decent knives and there is no way I can afford one. I'm looking for a job but don't have one right now. Maybe in the

future I can get a nice one similar to this. But I thought I might give this a shot and see what happens. good luck to everybody.
 
I have never had an Emerson! I do own a Benchmade Griptilian, so I didn't enter in your Benchmade giveaway...I would love to have an Emerson! pleaseeeeee.
 
First off, thanks for the chance. I would like it because I would use that bad boy. A LOT!!!:D I like Emersons and that would be a nice addition to my EDC rotation.
 
I'll be the second to admit I don't need another knife, (my wife bein' the first) but I've always wanted to buy an Emerson CQC series knife but when they were available in the beginning I never had the money.

Now I still don't have the money but my chances to buy one are even slimmer now that my wife and I both are semi-retired/disabled right now meanin' fixed income, add to that a 19 year old daughter in college for at least the next three years.

Vacations are very limited as we have to keep a close eye on finances so a new knife is like a vacation for the family, (if Daddy's happy everybody's happy) seein' as how my future is better geared toward a new knife vs a vaction I figure you have the power to grant me the opportunity to get a new knife there by makin' life a lot nicer at home all around.

I like heavy use knives and Emerson is one of the best IIRC, I never sell or trade away a gifted/giveaway knife, I use all my knives, so no safe queens here, alright I have one or two, a vintage Colonial Scout knife with Compass and Magnifying Glass on a chain, this knife is just too historical for me, I'll probably donate it to the local BSA Chapter for display with the other Scout knives.

One of these days I am just going to have to see what all of the Emerson hubbub is about...and there is no better way than free!

I don't own an Emerson, but I would love to. My knives are all inexpensive models, so I'd like the chance to experience something of a higher quality. As for "safe queens", I really don't care to own anything that I'm not willing to use on a daily basis.
