OK, I feel like I am getting the vibe of a #15 frame with a wharnie/clip or wharnie/spear pair.

Let's say you were in the market for something like that (if it disgust you, just play along).

What slabs would you like to have it with?

One wood and/or one bone preference per person and I will draw a random post number on 8/18/13 to receive a Great Eastern EDC Antique Green Bone Toothpick Jack.

If conversations spark up (which is fine), I will draw random numbers until I get the FIRST post in the thread by someone.

I'll join in. For wood, I'd have to go with ebony, with vintage schrade propwood as a close second, as for the other, I like Case Chestnut bone. Thanks for the chance!

Mike,

A wharnie/clip on the 15 frame would be awesome!! As for wood and bone, ebony and old Case red jigged bone.

Knifeswapper, this has been a wonderful trilogy, great fun to read and be involved in, my thanks to you.

For wood: oak.
For bone: british racing green (we could be the first) with peach seed jigging.

The possibilities of your project have been keeping me up nights! For wood I too will go for ebony, there is something so classic and classy about it. As far as bone, I have been really digging the soup bone that popped up on the Charlows! Thanks again for letting us help out!

I am having a problem deciding between Ebony/African Blackwood, or snakewood, as for bone a jig pattern like the Montana in chestnut or dark red

This has been great to follow so far! Very fun idea and very generous of you

For wood, I am going to say Desert ironwood for its sheer beauty. For bone, I have seen some mighty pretty GEC's with those hints of green at the edges...
Thanks for the chance, that Powderhorn is too sweet!

For wood, some good old Oklahoma Osage Orange.

Bone--a deep, red bone with old school Schrade style peach seed jigging.

Thanks, Mike.

PS

My knives are supposed to be here tomorrow, according to the tracking folks.

Out of respectful spite, I will not count "bone" or "jigged bone"; nor will I count "wood" or "jigged wood". :D
