Hey man, they're just trying to work with this situation. If you hate face book and like the forums here and enjoy the information and comradery as much as the rest of us do then just spend the $25.00 to become a gold member. It helps to support the functioning of the site and keep it around for all of us to enjoy. It also enables you to keep track of threads and posts easier... both your own and other people's. You'll never convince me that you don't spend more than $25.00 a year on snacks and sodas or other stuff you really wouldn't miss anyway.

I dont do Facebook, nor do i want to so i am not gonna spit crap here. Compliments only.

Also, it is pretty cool that you are doing that. However, I am on facebook like twice a month. I only joined because I found out there were knife groups. :D
 
Now a clever way to use facebook is to use a pseudonym
known to only you and your friends and set all the parameters to be visible only by them.
I have seen so many friends in trouble because some ex lovers found them there.
Adapt, improvise...
On internet nobody knows you are a dog...
Digital Camouflage should be self preservation unless you need to be present on Facebook as "public figure".
 
Never in my life have I found it so damn hard to give things ways.

Had an easier time giving away a freaking cat that pissed on everything.

Don't like Facebook, don't enter the contests.

Don't want to upgrade to gold, don't enter the contests.

Couldn't be simpler!
