People are amazing...

I thought I had joined like 2 weeks ago but I just went and joined and want to say thanks for doing this. The overall atmosphere of the ESEE forum is awesome.
 
So let me get this straight. Jeff is GIVING away free knives (facebook is free for now, anyway), and someone is complaining? Mother of pearl. What other "medium" would you suggest that would give people easier access? You're killing me, Smalls!

The only problem with Facebook for me is I'm beginning to think I'm just too da** stupid to use it. :grumpy:

I guess I missed the announcements that contests will now be only for gold members... When was this?
 
These free giveaway contests are "THE SHIT"! I won an Izula a few months back and ended up giving it to a young service member who was deploying to Afghanistan.

Everybody quit whining and join if you can and want to. if you don't want to play by the rules just sit back have a drink and move on to the next thread...problem solved!

These items are FREE Remember, a little effort on our part is not going to kill us....

This is a bit much to read, but in all fairness I think this is really great of Jeff and the entire ESEE crew. As for my personal choice, I'm golden here so I won't enter contests of fb
 
ESEE is such a great company.. I've lurked on here for a long time, but just ordered my first knife, an Izula, yesterday from KSF...

Can't wait to get it in and test it out.

PS. My oldest likes pink, but since these are free, please don't feel obligated to give her that color. Kits would be appreciated.
 
I'll have to have my wife teach me to use facebook. Shes on there all the time. I've never been on since I do all my chatting on forums.:D It is amazining how many people whine over free contest.
 
this is really nice of you, sorry some people get upset when they dont like how someone GIVES AWAY A FREE KNIFE.

I think it has a lot to do with all the crap they teach in schools these days. They want to avoid the kids feeling any mental or emotional discomfort.

Everyone wins there are no real "losers" (and they hate that word in particular), everyone is equal, no one is better at anything than anybody else blah, blah, blah. THEN...when the kids hit the real world they expect it to be the same way and find out the hard way it isn't and have to go through culture shock over it.

Seems to me it was better when kids learned the realities of the world early and just accepted it as the way things are. Kids are so much more adaptable than adults...but that's just my opinion.
