Wow; thanks for the generosity! I'm in - I think my favorite fixed blade right now would have to be this little guy that I picked up from another member on the forum...

I think that my favorite fixed knife today is the Fiddleback Forge Bishop. It is simply Bad Ass, and quite functional as the picture can attest.

Thanks for the chance, and what a generous give away!

Not sure I'd say Heimo Roselli's designs are the most traditional, but it is in the traditional puukko lineage. One of my faves.

True Scandinavian edge, carbon steel, easy to sharpen and keep shaving sharp, discrete for belt carry, original sheath is birch and reindeer hide (this one is aftermarket), lightweight to carry but heavy enough for bushcraft (minus batoning wood), skins game, guts fish, cuts rope, cuts leather, and so on.

Well this isn't my favorite fixed blade but the contest entry is for my favorite traditional fixed blade.
This was given to me by my grandpa and was hand made by an Indian gentleman from my grandmas tribe. It's about 40 years old I was told.

Wow, awesome giveaway. I'm in.

I don't have many, but still it's difficult to pick my favorite. I'm gonna go with this Blind Horse Knives Woodsman Pro that's a gift from my dad:

Bad picture because my phone is inexplicably getting worse at taking pictures.

I'm in. Thanks for the awesome giveaway and chance to win! Not sure if this one counts but I'll post it up nonetheless, because I love it. My custom TM Hunt Tradewater.

This is my favorite traditional fixed blade because it is mine. Just kidding. It's my favorite because my mom gave it to me when I was 11. It has served me well ever since. It has been my camping knife up and down this continent from Alaska to California and from Washington to Quebec. It might not be monetarily valuable, but it is irreplaceable to me.

A favorite traditional fixed blade... hm. I guess it really is this one, a 10" K-Sabatier carbon steel French chef's knife. Takes a wicked sharp edge easily, holds it well, and all the feeling of the history of cooks and chefs and food in the blade. I don't carry it out much, but it's a workhorse in my kitchen at home. :) Photo from one of our blog posts of my adventures in the kitchen.

I not sure if the bottom one would be considered traditional - but there's nothing tactical about it, so I'm going to take a chance. It is currently my most frequently used fixed blade - the handle fits my hand well, the blade shape is great for a general utility knife, and it carries well in my rear pocket.
Just in case, that doesn't fly, I included my LT Wright Patriot (in bone). The D2 actually took a bit of patina early on; but it hasn't advanced...and it doesn't show well in pictures. It's probably the smallest fixed blade that I like, and it's pretty darned handy to have on my belt.

My favorite is also one of your creations, a Bush Adder that fits my hand like a glove. I love the how the spalting plays out on the A2 steel, and the scandi grind makes it a keen woods knife. To my eyes the white spacer between the bolster & the maroon linen micarta adds a subtle touch of class.

This Marbles Ideal was my Father's favorite and once it was given to me it's been mine.
Thanks for the really cool GAW

This is my favourite. A Swedish scout knife.

I first saw it on a forum years ago and sent a very lengthy message to the chap who posted images of it asking just about everything about it. When I saw it up for sale I almost died lol, but it was just too expensive and I had no money. Lost it was, lost for years. Until.. a few months back. When it arose from the forum again for sale. This time I paid every penny for it and it's now mine! :D

It has some sort of magic aura that compels me to fondle it.. no comprehensible explanation why.
