I'm in and thank you for the opportunity and your generosity, Allen! My favorite fixed blade is this Fiddleback Forge Bushboot. Why...because I have always admired Andy's work and creativity.
My favorite is the first knife that I had made custom by special request to its maker and it's one of your's Allen, a Minuteman. It's part of a matching set that you made for my husband & I. I like the overall craftsmanship and the quality of the Ironwood Burl. It's easy to carry when we're camping due to the nice taper you put on the tang. Oh yes, the file work & mosaic makes it classy.
This is a very nice giveaway Allen. Even though I mostly buy burlap handled knives these days, I do have a few nice wood ones that are more appropriate for the Traditional forum. My favorite is my first knife that I had re-handled a number of years ago. It is a Bark River Canadian Camp knife from 2008 that now wears Desert Ironwood and mosaic pins. I made the firesteel handles with leftover pieces of the knife block.

My favorite traditional fixed is my JK Knives Mini Canadian Belt knife. His HT on O1 is one of my favorites, and the handle shape fits my hand like the knife was built for My hands alone.
O1 and Buckeye Burl:
(Don't mind the Large 21, and photo was taken on the river in New Hope, Pa.)
Thanks for the chance at a Great looking piece. I carry a fixed blade daily and this would fit in my rotation nicely!
My current favorite fixed blade is a Fiddleback Patch. It's nice an compact, easy to carry. It's the one I used to cut off my wife's med ID the day she finished chemo
My favorite traditional fixed blade is the Fiddleback Bushcrafter by Andy Roy. It has been my favorite model from the first moment I had it in hand. The ergos and balance are incredible and it is still razor sharp despite a lot of use. Old school and new school.
My favorite at the moment is this custom Carter Damascus. A good friend of my who helped me realize that there is so much more to a knife that just a tool to cut something. He showed me art and it is what he carries and so when I had a chance to get one, I did. And now I am hooked.
Here is a traditional blade by forum member Stuart Branson, it has stood out as a favorite in my collection. When you hold it, you know it was made right. 52100 and Walnut.
Some tremendous knives in this thread gents. My current favorite is a newer pattern by none other than W.A. Surls. Hollow ground tapered blade on blue sambar stag handles. Unfortunately, these pics do not do this knife justice.
I'm in. Thanks for the chance.
Hope this qualifies as traditional.
Smith & Sons Tataille
It's my favorite fixed blade right now. Hope it's my most versatile. I bought it for that reason anyway. Time will tell. Its also my newest fixed blade at this time. Sweet ergos and F&F. Very well balanced.
I'm in! Thanks for the chance Allen! I am not sure if this counts as traditional, but my favorite fixed blade in that category is my bocote Fiddleback Kephart.
