Glennbad is a baaaad man

Here's an 881Y that was sitting in my project bin. The yellow covers had either gassed or had been removed at some point. Additionally, the blades had either been exposed to outgassing or moisture/water at some point, as there was some spots of deep corrosion on all of the blades. Still, the blades were pretty much full, so I thought I would do my best to make it useable again. I picked some nice dyed stag that I made some time back, and also added a federal shield. It's not mint by any standard, but it is a survivor...

Glenn, as per usual and every time- this is just stunning! Great workmanship using stunning Stag. Love it!

Hard to describe how awesome these are. Mammoth bunny, stag 93 Charlie lamb, ebony M&G Schrade Spey, and mammoth 85. glennbad glennbad is truly a master and more importantly a wonderful person. Thank you, Glenn.

I’m in a little bit of a hurry and will get better photos for this thread later.

It's been extremely hard to get any shop time recently. Been doing some reno work in my basement, replacing old mildewy drywall and making a few improvements. I'm no drywall ace, that's for sure, so mudding takes me longer than most might take. I am finishing up some current projects and getting some new ones on the bench also.

Here's some recently finished work...

Fine work👍

Here is a very special knife that Glen brought back to life. My grandfather passed away when i was 3 years old. He and my grandmother had a camp that was passed down to my mom and her siblings. This past summer they sold the camp (very sore subject!) There was a shed at camp that had originally been a workshop when my grandfather and his father had worked on the camp back in the 1960's. My whole life the shed was a total mess of animal nests and a pile of float toys and a canoe. This summer on my last weekend at camp i was digging around the shed for treasures and i found a pocket knife! It was in a pile of acorns and other animal debris. It was it very bad shape. I soaked it in oil and cleaned it a bit, then off to Glen. Now heres the pictures.
