Arrived today, got to say this wire skinner has the FINEST handles ever seen on a wire skinning knife. I posed it next to a breaker and some ROMEX cable for the picture - it is a wire skinner, but I seriously doubt this will ever be a tool pouch knife! Just gorgeous stag and fantastic fitting of that stag glennbad glennbad - a wonderful knife - thank you! OH

Just got mine in 😁

This Schrade 196 is something else! I'm honestly blown away by the quality of glennbad glennbad 's work, not to mention his generosity!

This is my first hands on experience with one of his creations. The action is great & has zero blade play in any direction. He told me a little bit of background info about it & how he took the bolsters & bail off of an old Camillus to add to this knife. I found that interesting & love the details he put into it. Everything from the coloring & jigging, down to the fact that he went through the extra effort to pin the shield 🤯

Here's a few quick shots before the sun goes down here (trying to find some good lighting this late in the day) It looks amazing in person 👍

Thanks again Glenn for all the generosity & hard work you put into these!!!

Love it! Congrats on winning the "KutMaster" That was a close call for my choice that Glenn generously put up. It looks amazing with the broad blade & ez open with that stag! But I had to put my name in for the Schrade because you know, green is my jam 😉

The Franken-lifter came in over the weekend. I’m also blown away by the workmanship and the generosity. I think Glenn was being a little modest when he warned us that it was ugly. I don’t see anything ugly about it. The stag is nice and thin while still maintaining good texture, nice spear blade with added swedge, and a lined bolster. You can’t go wrong with a cap lifter or a bare end in my opinion so it’s got that going for it, and it’s built solid with smooth, snappy action. I carried it today and I can tell it’s going to be a favorite. Thanks again Glenn and Tim for the nomination.

Agreed! The Franken-lifter is a good looking knife.

I too believe he is just being modest & I'm getting humble vibes from him even though I don't know him. (This GAW being a perfect example)
I believe his words for the Schrade he gifted me was "It'll make a good gardening or whatever kind of knife"... 😂

Congrats on getting the Franken-lifter btw!

Boy oh Boy! The glennbad glennbad has landed!
Thank you so much for the GAW, Glenn! The Mitchell knife that you recovered with the awesome stag handle is a real treat to CE&CF. With its thin sharp blade, it will be a serious cutter. I'll put a nice lanyard on it and carry and use it proudly. Thank you so much!
