The E-1 the compact, the size of the M-3 with solid state controls, that the constant Voltage is maintained. Is too long to post all advanteges.

Rob:

Looks like you were the infamous "666" (at least that was the last 3 of the counter when I read your addition). And with 777 of your own posts. SPOOOOKY

If this somewhat off-topic question has been discussed, I offer my apologies.

In visually scan-reading some of this interesting thread, a challenge quickly became apparent. With my efforts to cipher Gonczs unique syntax, it occurred to me that knowing the origin of the name, Goncz, might help. So, I looked around a little. I believe it could be European, probably Central Europe and possibly Hungarian. My first impression was Latin and it seems this is incorrect. However, Lajos is very Latin in nature.

Lajos John Goncz is a name that is not easily forgotten due its given, middle and surname origin contrasts. This, of course, is not to say there arent other more meaningful reasons to remember this name.

All the above is qualification as to why I'm asking the off-topic question. In my search for a better understanding of Goncz's words, I ran accross a product that is considered to be a collectable by a very narrow niche. Has the subject of http://www.blacksteel.com/hcs/index.cgi?section=Collection&manufacturer=46 already been discussed?

*edited* sorry about the multiple posts. The question was about Goncz Handcuffs.

TIA

It's been discussed. Like all the other products of this creative mind, a lot of claims were made, but none of them substantiated(I will give an exception to the knife and guns in Total Recall, but seems there's noticably mroe to the story than what he told us)

Dunno

The handcuff issue arises again...

Just for info, if you go to the website that Icebreak mentioned and click on the advertising banner at top, it goes to some kind of s & m company. I had wondered just why, earlier in this thread and when the handcuff issue came up, just why g.b. had mentioned an interest in gold plated handcuffs... because I couldn't think of any reason why any department or agency would ever want gold plated handcuffs...

In any event...SHOT is one week away and still no word from g.b. as to if he will attend. He's not listed as an exhibitor as of this writing.

All the best,

Stuart

I saw an M-2 yesterday and 'played' with it for a while.

Surefire has NOTHING to worry about.

Stu Gatz -

Gold plated hand cuffs? Wish I wouldn't have brought it up now.

I know it would have been more interesting if Goncz would have taken you up on your offer to set up a fair comparison venue; but I'm sure the Shot Show will be a fine time for you none the less.

Well Guys,

SHOT is less than a week away, still no answers to emails and it looks like GB is going to be a no show. Can't say I am shocked, it would have been a interesting show down to see GB defend himself and his lights in public.

OOOhhh Geez!!

I'm peeing my pants in anticipation on the prospect of seeing pictures of the Super-Neat-o-All-Titanium-Ultra-Mega-Goncz-o knife....

Did'ja ever finger those pictures out, Goncz?:p

I think I may have found a picture of one of Goncz's creations.
Actually, it's pretty ingenious.
It's part light and part sword.

It'll put out 11 million lumens and cut you in half in a split second!

I think this is the titanium model.:D

Lets Give ole GB some slack, he is having a problem with his computer. Every time he tries to download the images onto his puter the poor thing upchucks(even a computer has standards)and out of self preservation goes to the blue screen of death to try and keep him from doing it again.

Ya know, Smokingbasser, I think you're right...

Goncz, maybe if you go into your computer and run your "BSCONFIG" program you can re-set your BS levels from "skeptical pessimist" down to "Prewar Inteligence" levels...

Then it should let damn near anything pass...

Looking forward to, well sh!t, anything informative...

Luv ya Goncz!! (smoochies)

Let me be the first to express my suprise. As of this evening it appears that g.b. has registered to exhibit at SHOT Show.
"Gonczhi Hi-Tech, Inc. - Booth 5810" I hope that he brings some of the new and older version lights. Still no contact via e-mail as he had requested but perhaps he will attend.
