good knife for a cop?

^^^What the heck. Your a member for less than 10 days and your already insulting people and it was your misunderstanding of there statement in the first place. I think toning it down is on order. This is meant to be a helpful place and good advice was given.

As for on topic I've been an officer for 10 years now and have went through many different knives. Some of my favorites have been Spyderco Endura, Paramilitary 2, Kershaw Skyline, Leak, SOG Trident,

I want to try out the ZT0561 soon when I get the cash. My current setup includes the skyline in my back pocket. I've chose the skyline because of its thin profile and it doesn't bother me to sit on it all day. I then carry a KaBar TDI on my belt behind my mags. I also carry one of a couple different boot knives on one leg and my backup gun on the other. I keep a multitool in my bag along with other tools pry bar extra knife or two magazines and what not. I mainly use my blades in normal day to day tasks but have had to use it to open doors cut belts from time to time.

I lurk around a lot reading and soaking in. Plus my main toys have been flashlights so I spent a lot of time in the past on CPF. I just recently started to get back into knives again. I've started to get into Beckers and want to try out ZT knives so am spending more time here now.

I hope my above post wasn't out of line.

Not at all.
As one who is experienced in the subject/topic at hand, your word carries a heck of a lot more weight than the bull that kid is spitting

ah i see - pigs stick together, you can always tell when a pig is a pig.

It's not a question about sticking together. It's a question about courtesy and respect.
Are you seriously telling a person who's been here for a few years with nearly 4000 posts he knows nothing about knives, after only being here a few days?

If we are all "ganging up" on you how about you defend yourself and answer the question?
How does a non reflective blade benefit a cop?

Maybe if he's in SWAT and he doesn't want to give his position away.
But for the normal day to day street cop who only uses a knife for edc or emergencies?

i would go with this one:

...wow. That's one way to totally dismantle your credibility/respectability in a single fell swoop.

His post has already been dealt with....no reason to quote it or respond to it. Continue posting on topic please.
