Goodbye, my friend.......

I am glad you got so many years with him, but sorry he passed away. I love my dog as much as any of the people in my life and I know how hard it is to let them go. When I put down my 16 year old Border Collie Piper, I was a wreck. After a couple months of the house seeming empty, I welcomed in another little puppy named Indy and it really helped the emptyness.

I am so sorry for your loss, Joe. I know exactly how you feel and what you're going through.

We are all here for support and I will have a drink for Murf!
 
He was always so happy to see me........ No matter how happy I was to see him, always more happy just to see me.....

I truly believe tha it is better to have loved, and lost, than to never have loved at all. Sounds like Murf had a great life, and enriched yours as well. God bless you my brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have been there myself.
 
I just had to put my dog Krispy down two weeks ago. It just tears a piece right out of you don't it? Just take solace in that you gave em the best time while together. I still think I hear her around the house sometimes and then I get sad all over again. Real sorry for your loss Gun....
 
So sorry to hear Joe. My sincere condolences. RIP Murf. Time will heal Joe, hang in there brother.
 
I'm really sorry to hear this Joe, there's nothing worse than losing a pet. I'm still not over my Golden Retriever who died 7 years ago.
 
This is my first post here but I had to when I saw you and Murph. God bless and I know your loss. I lost my BUDDIE JAKE back in Nov. 2011. I got him right after I retired and he had been abused we were together for about 7 years and had to be put to sleep. I loved Jake so much but I see him in my house still. I will toast Murph. And say a prayer for you and Murph.
