Goodbye, my friend.......

This is my first post here but I had to when I saw you and Murph. God bless and I know your loss. I lost my BUDDIE JAKE back in Nov. 2011. I got him right after I retired and he had been abused we were together for about 7 years and had to be put to sleep. I loved Jake so much but I see him in my house still. I will toast Murph. And say a prayer for you and Murph.

RKH

My heart goes out to you. It takes a special person to save an abused animal. Turns out, they save you.........

Joe,

Murph is in a better place, running and chasin stuff, no more being old or sick or tired, just enjoying. Told myself the same thing when i had to let my best friend Gordie go after 12 years( hip displasia)..... Nuthin we can say will help the hurt you feel...but know we care...God bless ole Murph, maybe he can hang out with Gordie till we get there.

Very, very sorry for your loss of Murf and his unconditional love.
Rest easy Murf.
Remember all the great times you two had together.

Sorry for your loss joe,
Saying good bye to mine 2 years ago still makes me sad when I hear of others losing theirs.
My thoughts are with you..

I'm sorry man all I can say is its better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all.

Some time when you're feeling important
Sometime when your egos in bloom
Sometime when you feel
You're the best qualified in the room
Sometime when you feel you're going
Would fill an impossible hole
Just follow this simple instruction
and see how it humbles your soul
Take a bucket and fill it with water
Stick your hand in it up to your wrist
Pull it out and the hole that remains
Is a measure of how much you'll be missed
You may splash all you please as you enter
You may stir up the water all galore
But stop and you will find in a minute
It looks quite the same as before
The moral of this quaint example
Is to do the best that you possibly can
Be good to yourself but remember
There's no indispensable man.

Miss you Murf. You made an immeasurable splash. ........... Hope I did right by you

condolences - I had to put down one of ours back at the end of March - there will be other dogs, but you'll never stop missing Murf just the same.
