Got a Buck 119 from my dad, from vietnam era?

To All,
Guys believe it or not, I think the only 119 I have is a four spacer. BUCK, 119, U.S.A., read handle up, dark spacer behind guard and dark spacer, (hard to see) between scale and AL spacer.....If so it is sorta funny I would have it.......Sheath has no line on edge of belt loop.

Do we need a photo.

What may be even funnier if true, my only 116 is the same way.......ha

I think, however, that you are describing a 1972 tip down 119. I am looking for a 1973 tip up 119.

Pictures, however, are always desireable.

Telechronos:):):)

These pictures and knives are I4bucks... What a sweet set he has... I'm looking for a 119 2x2 too...

300, post a pic or two of your 119, Please...

Thanks,
ITE ...

I can see the 2 in the pommel but only one in the finger guard. Sometimes the photo hides them. DM

So that means you're working on a closeup of the 119 for these old eyes?

I should have mentioned that the fact that I can't see it is not very significant. I don't imagine Dave's eyes are that much younger than mine, either.

:)

Yes, good photos come from guys skilled at it from much pratice sessions. Plus, its easy to not see details in photos blame it on eyes or whatever. But with good photos it takes away many doubts. I think neither are easy to come by. DM ;)
