Just wanted to say, I posted that pic of mine just for comparison sake. It doesnt bother me at all, its a non-issue in my eyes.
 
There's nothing wrong with the knife. Just doesn't match with your expectations.
 
Kind of off topic but what ever happens to blades that people ordered initially and then cancelled on. Do these ever get sold or are they just sitting in some storeroom collecting dust (I highly doubt). Always wondered what happens with them. Anybody know?

They go to people on the wait list, then probably to grab bag offers, shows, etc..
 
Honestly.....I have one where the logo and stuff is darkish....

Don't care. Don't think anyone will care unless it becomes one of those odd collector desirability things like coins with double strikes, etc.

The knife itself is.....awesome.
 
Don't have time to read all of the responses.....but the only way to really tell is to strip the damned thing. So...what are you waiting for?
 
In op2w part 1, I was able to get a whole little list emailed to me of the extra blades they had on hand, that was cool
