Would this bother you? The Busse Special Edition A2 stamp is illegible, it looks more like a stain. Thoughts?
No, it wouldn't, and didn't. Mine is very .... subtle... as well. Do not care.

Edited to add, mine is midnight, not black. Still, subtle logo. But it is there.
And I intend to use the **** out of it, so, any resale value is moot.

I also have a black with maroon micarta coming, someday. I imagine the logo will be subtle on it as well. But again, it will probably get used as well.

Apoc, is your logo just in surface or did it dig down into coating? Don’t think it would be etchable without getting down deep.
It look pretty surface-level, with those very fine lines, but I guess we won’t know for sure until someone etches and strips one.

Sage on black canvas? Looks great!

Sage looks lighter than usual. Looks great SB. I love the way this thing feels. Been playing with it since yesterday. Wish I had a sheath for it already!

Who cares about the logo, beat the dang thing!
I use my original for that, just got some a2's to add in some of the missing colors to the collection. IF you ever decide to resell down the line it's going to be a stretch with the hey you can't see the logo or markers mark but that just makes it rare. Kinda like when you buy a limited or titanium edition truck or a hellcat you want that shit highly visible at the stop light :D.

Still a busse though, and the TG is about as well known/recognizable a knife as there is so if you can't tell what it is or who makes it from afar stick to your kabars or whatevers .

I noticed this on all of mine as well. It’s like the letters in the logo were outlined only instead of filled in completely like in the CG versions. I didn’t really think anything of it at the time but yeah, they are harder to read and my first thought was impossible to electro etch.

I'm curious to see how it works out - My plan for this one, etch and remove the scales and strip - shine her up and put the scales back on Busse style w/flared tubes and then hand smooth the G10 - I ordered my A2 M with canvas - probably do the same with it but make my own scales for it.

Maybe Ill work up the courage after seeing yours brother lol ;) I'm just not sure with the letters being outline only and the Special Edition A2 being so small ha.

I got on on order from buy brown for like $40

By the way, I would agree that this is among the sharpest factory edges I’ve seen from Busse (thanks Garth!) which is nice if it’s a trend. I have definitely gotten a few that were as sharp, or sharper, but not often in a blade this size.

I also want to mention that the spine and guard are a lot more comfortable to me than my TGBG and TG14. (Never held an OG TG to compare.) It’s definitely not finished in the regard the way a LB is, but it’s more chamfered than the above mentioned.

Here’s a pic, though it is hard to tell with my black coating.

Overall I am very pleased with this one! I’d thought to move it along as soon as it came, but I am having hard second thoughts on this now that I have it in hand. Seems like it would be an excellent user.
I must agree. I really like the chamfered edges, gives it a more finished look that the BG version didn't have. I've been seeing this on more blades lately and I think it's great

The infi tglbs were always dull as shit with too much meat behind the edge and near 60 degree edge angle from factory that wouldnt even tear paper the bg stuff have been like 40 "20 per side"
