Got one you're KEEPING and will NEVER USE?

That 1 of 27 is the only grail
I’m missing and is the only blade I would consider trading the MOASS for.

But on the use side, I’ve played with all of em doing different things, but I have 3 right now that I wouldn’t sell. CS Gladius, 1 of 1 MOASS, CS Sus and my FFBM Superman.

I even sold my Keffeler, but it was just too big for my hand, the palm swell did t sit right. So for me it has to fit right in the hand, I won’t just keep something to colllect when those funds can go elsewhere. (That sell funded a Wilson combat edc X9)

Yeah I’ve got a bunch I’ll probably never use. Wanted to use one of my ASH1s but I got a BGASH :-)
Same for my BossJacks.
Your not alone, I’ve bought Busse/Kin blades saying that’ll be a great user. It arrives and I just can’t bring myself to use it lol.
But, i know if I had to it would handle just about any task :-)
 
I was hesitant to use my Snow Hole Flak Jack when I first got it. It was too pretty! I solved the problem by handing it over to the BF to beat on it in for a couple weeks. It's back in my hands now and I have no problems with using it. I'm not sure if I'll be able to use the nuked V8 that will eventually arrive. I'll probably have to hand that over for a week or two as well to break it in. If the V8 scales turn out to be something crazy pretty like mammoth tooth or abalone unicorns set in coral, it's going to be my first safe queen.

I kinda figured I wasn't the only one who had this "issue" but sometimes you just gotta ask.

And when I think of the ultimate "take ALL yer BUSSEs to the wood pile and beat em" poster boy, it's Rob Stanley.

So it's very reaffirming to know there's AT LEAST one pearl that's safe from being trampled benath his cloven hooves!

I want to own and enjoy Bussekin and other brands. I’m older and not the outdoorsman I was 30 years ago. Should I venture out again, I have users ranging in size from an RMD to a Fatty NMFSH. So I’m covered thanks. Specifics on what I would be foolish to use, and diminish their collectible value? Two pristine SHSH2’s; two unused SH1’s, and an ASH1 “1 of 10.” Have a great week, all.
 
My TGLB is the last one I'd ever sell but realistically I don't see myself ever really using it anymore. It's kinda big for most knife use, kinda small for big knife stuff.

That V8 IS going to be to gorgeous to beat on, not really sure what we'd use it for either? Tooth pick? Bayonet? Vampire stake? I still would very much like to check it out tho if you deem this lowly peasant worthy my queen.:D And after getting in hand, might think it's more capable of stuff than thought, and beat it upright, if permitted.:D

I will never collect knives, if can't use, don't see the point of having around. Flipping? Would rather have some nice paintings or sculptures if just gonna stare at it.
 
Closest for me would be my one-of-a-kind ASHBMLE that I acquired from the great dericdesmond. But that’s likely only because I also have my one-of-a-kind REK’d ASHBM that is, I am convinced, the greatest blade in the world. :)

For sure...

I believe even the most utilitarian type of items can rise to the level of art & beauty...

sometimes it's a "beauty in the eyes" of the beholder type thing...

other times it's universal,
