I did use my 112. My trusty 3dot finger groove wasn't as sharp as I wanted so I pulled an ecolite 112 out of my hunting pack and finished it off. Had a good Aggie buddy helping me out! All around great weekend in the brush country of south Texas!!

Boned the buck out tonight. I will make jerky soon!!!

My son killed his first buck this evening in Maryland. He is stationed there with the USMC. He also killed his first doe with a bow a few days ago.

Got one Tuesday night......with my wife`s brand new Escape (which we got 4 weeks ago when my Jeep was stolen, been having some great luck lately.) We were coming home from visiting my grandaughter in the hospital, when an oncoming truck hit it with his front corner, and threw it into our lane. Wife, other grandaughter, and myself are all ok, but the car will be in the shop for awhile.

Once again, he was all smiles! Bullet passed right through the boiler room lodging in the opposite shoulder; was quartered away. I won't be butchering this one myself. Work load is too much this week.
