Grail is an over used term.

The Grail is about the quest, and it's usually a quest nobody finishes.

"O thou that settest out upon The Path, false is the
Phantom that thou seekest. When thou hast it
thou shalt know all bitterness, thy teeth fixed in
the Sodom-Apple.
Thus hast thou been lured along That Path, whose
terror else had driven thee far away."

We can't risk another frontal assault, that rabbit's dynamite.
The first time I saw that scene it had me helpless with laughter. Python has a few routines that can have that effect. There were incredible. And very, very smart.

I doubt it, but cool story, bro.

LOL.
You're her lawyer or what?!
Anyway, I was just trying to have a laugh or two. Don't take this too close to your heart. I got no problem with TKC whatsoever, but your intervention makes me look like a meaner or whatnot. Just ease out. Stay cool. And since you don't know me, doubt! if humans wouldn't doubt anything, we'd still think the earth is flat :p

Every junk pocket knife I ever had was a grail.

Every expensive knife I ever had was a grail.

So sue me :)

Every upland bird I ever shot was a trophy.

Every trout I ever caught was a trophy...

This thread isn't in Whine and Cheese, but I can see it from here.
Pedantic grammar nazis will stand me up against a wall, yet.

My personal definition of a "Grail" knife, is generally one that is hard to get; either because a few were made etc., and is generally NOT a PRODUCTION knife. I just feel the term is way, way over used.

I get a Grail every time I get a new knife, then the next one becomes my Grail, I don't think there is truly a end all be all knife. So I could live with out the term Grail.

Great topic T.K.C. ! And some great answers as well! This whole discussion really boils down to semantics - everyone has a little different understanding of the word, and what it means. :) It is all good! ;)
