Oooh yeah definitely post it when you put it on there! That’s awesome, now I gotta find my duff beer bead.
My barglow did the same thing. I had to slightly file the tang corner on one side. Now it’s soft and buttery smooth. Very similar to my little bay as far as walk and talk.Got this little guy in today. Anyone experience this issue? When closing, it will only snap shut this far without an assist to close all the way…

Always happy to admit that I was wrong. And I was clearly wrong about this knife.I can definitely sit this one out. Really nice cover choices though.
I'm glad you like it. I don't see myself using it for anything except opening bottles and slicing limes, but that's okay. It's a fun little bar tool knife.Always happy to admit that I was wrong. And I was clearly wrong about this knife.
The red sawcut bone WAS very attractive, but I still managed to resist. Until I saw that Logan at Knife Thoughts was doing this as a Bearcat Barlow club knife. TMI alert, but my wife calls me Bearcat, so I joined the club. And then there were options to buy the 2023 Bearcat Barlow version of this knife. Groan…
Dear reader, I folded like a cheap suit. I placed my order.
It arrived today, and I have to say, it is a sweet little knife. Like really nice. The W&T is perfection and it’s just a prefect size for little jobs like breaking down boxes AND opening beer bottles. It actually works really well for opening beer bottles. No issues at all with opening and the lifting action is really smooth. This is a wonderful knife. No regrets and it might become a favorite user.

I was wondering about line slices and orange peels (Negroni addict, here). I think it’s a perfect use for this knife. I usually use my cocktail knife and box opener knife almost interchangeably, so should be a good fit.I'm glad you like it. I don't see myself using it for anything except opening bottles and slicing limes, but that's okay. It's a fun little bar tool knife.

TORONJA-AAAAHHHH!A Jarritos Grapefruit is a fine use of that tool in my opinion.
Micarta, bubble wrap, desicent and pin here.I got these two, as I liked the bone one and the Micarta seemed like it would make a good user, robust and cheaper. The Bone one arrived in wax paper and the Micarta in bubble wrap. No desiccant in any of them.
Some comments:
-The overall quality is good.
-They still feel like the flimsiest GECs I have ever had. They just do not have the overall solid feel of other GECs.
-They need a good cleaning, a lot of side rubbing and gritty operation.
-They are a fun toy to have.
-I do not see them as knives with a bottle opener, I see them more like a bottle opener with a blade, as this makes a lot more sense to me.
