Great eastern cutlery 25 beerlow

Very impressed with this one fit and finish is spot on at least to my Standards/expectations. Centered blade , perfect pull and snap. Pins are nestled in nicely and love the color and texture of this smooth Red bone saw cut. Great job GEC Thank you !!
Most importantly it does the job as advertised 😆

I’m really impressed and like it even more than I thought I would 👍🏻👊🏻
Next test open envelopes from future mail calls 😆
That bone is beautiful! Hopefully I'll get to see if mine works as well this evening.

Added a nice fat lanyard more for functionality than aesthetics . I like how part of my 3rd and 4th finger lay into the lanyard giving the feeling of a more secure grip when popping those caps off 😆
Hooo-ee -- this picture makes me proud of myself for breaking down and ordering a Red Sawcut.

I feel like I can always count on you guys for that sort of thing.

Got this little guy in today. Anyone experience this issue? When closing, it will only snap shut this far without an assist to close all the way…

With new knives, there's sometimes some buffing compound left in the works that can affect the snapping action. I'd try flushing the joint with oil and see if any gunk comes out. Good luck, I hope that helps.

I hit it with Tru Glide when I first opened it. There was some gunk and that did help some. But there is the slightest bit of blade rub that’s holding it up in that position when allowed to close of its own force. When I close it with a little extra snap from my finger it closes fine. Guess that’s the Lord’s way of telling me to drink more beer and get it smoothed out!

Mine was snappy and slams shut out of the tube. But I’m sure yours only needs to be flushed out with some oil of your choice and a little break in . It’s rare this happens with GEC”at least from my experience over the years “but it can happen.

Beer is a excellent antidote 😆
