Great Eastern Cutlery: #66 - Equal End Serpentine

Thanks Lance! We have waited so long for another run of these and it feels so good to finally have one in hand again.

I don't have a pic handy but one thing, among many, that I like about these three blade Calf Ropers is that they have a Spey blade that I'll actually enjoy using. It's just different enough that I genuinely like it.
I'm with you Rick! I received my ebony 66 today also. I'm expecting an oily creek bone, and am also waiting to see the other Northfield offering.

Just received this beauty today. Already opened a few packages with her. Love the dark even toned scales. Can't wait for the future releases.

That's a handsome knife. Very nice.

I am very happy that I put one of these 66s on reserve. I am definitely partial to the square end serpentine pattern that the 81s possess, but the pictures that you guys are putting up are certainly helping me not regret getting one of these one bit. I can't wait to see the blood red bone version.

I would love to get a #81. Hopefully one day soon!

I'm pretty much sold on the Ironwood at this point. But that autumn Jigged Bone is really scrumptious... But I can't drop two bills on stockmen. That'd be ridiculous.

I love the jigging on that Northfield that shows on the website. I wonder if that's the Smoky Mtn SFO, or the regular Northfield :D

I sure do understand the waiting and I hope I didn't rub it in too much in my post above. Hope you find that 66 slim soon.

Not at all, Railsplitter. I love seeing a beautiful knife, especially when something new is being released and there aren't many photos around yet. And thanks, I too hope that rascal shows himself fast. :D

I agree that bone looks outstanding and I was wondering the same thing. CK is listing Hemlock Green Bone for the Northfield on their early reserve page, and that photo doesn't look at all green to me. I am not familiar with hemlock green bone though, does anyone know if that would be a deep dark green or more of a vibrant bright green?

I'm guessing that is the chestnut peach seed. It looks similar to what they did on the Barlows awhile back. Beautiful bone.

I have the oily creek bone and smooth autumn bone on order. I'd like a shot at the blue camel bone but I doubt I'll time it right since I don't participate in social media of any sort.

I'm pretty excited based on the pics I've been seeing so far.

It certainly shows the beauty in simplicity. Matte finishes, plain nail nicks, a simple shield... that one is a real winner.

I agree. I hope it's not an optical illusion because it really makes sense with the Canvas Micarta. I've got my fingers crossed that they finished the Micarta a little rougher (which would also make sense) hence the slightly rougher finish on the shield and bolsters.
