Great Eastern Cutlery: #66 - Equal End Serpentine

One knife out one knife in.

The Chestnut almost pulled me but went with an Ironwood.

This makes an even 10 knives to my GEC rotation so no more unless I sell one.

Hope you all are having a great one

I guess that the dark covered knife with the shield looking shield on GECs website is the Hemlock Jigged Bone? If so I am excited.

The hemlock is my favorite so far . Curious to see the blood red , I haven't noticed any photos

I'm looking forward to receiving a 66 in well figured ironwood... I couldn't resist. Then moments ago I spot the preview drawing for the 35 Churchill!! It looks like another un-resist-able if it's a single spring, anyone know ???

I am pretty sure I read "single double end spring" on one reserve that I saw. Love my HJ #10 had to reserve this one

Oh man, how did you say no to that Dark Chestnut? It grabbed me and wouldn't let go...LOL!

Thank you sir. Since you mentioned "reserve", I was able to find the written description and the 35 Churchill is a single spring.

It's not that I didn't want it. I just don't need it. Ive sold 98% of what Ive had. Down to 10 GECs and a handful of random meaningful knives. My signature and following post in that thread may explain it better.

The Chestnut is a gorgeous knife. The Autumn Gold looks amazing as well. If it had the Autumn coloring of those 77 barlows I would have been even more torn.

The tortoise shell acrylic is also haunting me but Ive learned the hard way in living within my convictions.

Speaking of the tortoise shell, does anyone know what shield is going to be on that beauty?

Can anyone tell if image 7 of 60 is the Hemlock green jigged bone? If it is I'm in love.

That is want I want to know too. It only makes sense as the only missing variant that I can think of is Blood Red bone and I don't think that this is it. Love the color , jigging, shield, I hope that this is it

I couldn't stand it and called GEC. I was told that is the Hemlock Green Jigged Bone in photo 7 of 60.

My Autumn Jigged Tidioute just came in the mail, and I think I'm in love. Just one question. Has anyone else found the secondary spring to be a little weak? The clip blade has great WT, but the other two are pretty light. Not necessarily a problem, but lighter than I expected. Thanks.

I've got an Ebony and an Antique Autumn and my experience is the same as yours on both knives. Like you said, the secondaries aren't weak enough to be a problem but they are a little on the weak side.

I should have a Canvas Micarta in my mailbox when I get home. I'll be surprised if it's not the same way.
