That's an awesome knife. I'm getting one. Hopefully they'll make more in different variations -- lockback, 440C, different scales...

I love it!

Thanks for the photos.

EDIT: Correction, I put myself on the waiting list for the next run. I missed the first batch. :(

Yeah the new ones in black sound really good too, if I had the extra coin I would order one.

I have been enjoying the Bull Nose since I received it and I think you too will enjoy it. I love a single blade folder and a Sodbuster is one of the most traditional of all time. It has a lot of history, so it was nice to see GEC bring one out.
I will be sharing more about my knife in coming weeks, but right now I'm just using and enjoying.

Where, may I ask, can I signup for the next run? Thanks

IDK. Although that is a great idea. I can't imagine GEC will not make another run. People already voted in the most sincere way possible...with their wallets.

With that said, I am not a dealer, I have no relationship with GEC aside from giving them my money, and I can not speak for either GEC or the dealers.

Maybe someone will chime in. Maybe not.

I will also say, I have a lot of friends that have handled and used mine now and they all want one too.

I was hoping this thread would show any additional interest past the available first run knives sold. Hoping it would just be another push towards a second run. Maybe even a production run. Also to let the people of the forums speak their minds. It seems GEC always hears what people have to say.

Its a great knife and after a little more time with the O-1 I can say I prefer it over 1095.

Mike Latham of collectorknives.net is the man behind the Bull Nose Work Knife. He goes by "Knifeswapper" here on the forum.
Mike is also a dealer here on Bladeforums so I think it's OK to post this here.

Simple Man, you can "sign up" on the collectorknives.net website. Look on the right side of the page in the link. Right now the project (which as far as I can tell has always been to offer the knife in the same construction as the prototype for $50 or less) is still in development, and you will be reserving the right to be one of the first to place your order should the project pan out.

I would want one if it was under $50. Overall I like it, but I would go for a sodbuster or country cousin, if GECs product was twice the cost. I am not a knife collector, but I don't own a sodbuster and it looks like a very useful tool.

Are the liners Stainless Steel?

I added this info to the first page, thanks again Stu.

125 low carbon cold rolled steel liners

There are a lot of specs on the first page.

Noticed the next lean seems to be towards black Delerin for the handle. That's a shame, really like the orange, practical too. It looks almost to be Indian Yellow, the colour of the first car I drove when I was 11. A Saab 96:)

I agree that the orange is great. However, to drive the price down (at least at first) I believe white or black delrin would be what they might have to do. The other colors of delrin are not generally stocked by plastic suppliers so the price would be higher (unless they lucked upon some leftover stock they wanted to unload because it wasn't selling).

I like the orange so much more then I expected, but its the design and quality of this one that really gets me excited. :)

If they offered black and orange and I could only have one I would pick orange, but either or really :)
