What a great collection Brett, love the selection you have

Sometime in the future(really no hurry at all) I would love to request a shot. Could you line up the three big wharnies with the 55 in the middle? I have always been interested in the half congress and there might be a new 48 wharnie coming out. Just trying to stay one step ahead lol

I'm trying to use this pistol case as a physical constraint on my GEC accumulation. The middle column shows the similarity in my favorite dye color among different bone nomenclature (and different jigging)--antique amber, autumn gold, antique yellow, and copperhead.
Just got the 54 whittler in, what a pattern! Definitely the 79's larger yet more streamlined ancestor. I am tempted to grind that spey into a coping blade though.

Also I just noticed that fully a third of these are collectorknives.net SFOs. Mike sure knows how to pick em.

I've got a few Spear and Sheepsfoot #15 TC Barlows...#42 Missouri Trader...#72 Cody Scout...and various SAK's.

Could someone post up pictures of 53/54 Moose, 66, 68 White Owl, 76, and/or 85's next to the aforementioned knives for comparison. Thanks!

I don't have a 53/54 Moose or #76 but I hope this helps. I posted this one a couple months ago.
An ebony group shot... From the top, #12 Powderhorn Jack, #15 Boy's Knife, #16 Canoe, #23 Pioneer, #33 Conductor, #53 Cuban Pen, #66 Jack, #68 White Owl, #72 Cody Jack, #85 Bullet Jack, #92 Eureka Jack.

Thanks! I just use my knives, and let the patina happen as it happens. I do cut an apple a day, and an occasional lemon wedge for my vodka drinks. I do wipe the blade down after each use.

I didn't know GEC made a Ben hogan clip in that autumn gold jig they used (middle row, top). Any chance u could post a pic of that open?

Also I have a pic request for anyone. Id like to see a #66 BJM northfield compared to #15 boys knife blades. Both spear and clip blades nick side would be great!

My humble submission..#23 and #73 single and two bladers (albeit with different badges)?.....And a toothpick?...............FES

Fes, it seems you like threaded bolsters. Here's another one to admire. (I just made this my computer desktop background.)

Yeah that was one of the SFOs I really watched like a hawk :D They're definitely out there though

When this was sold the name was 'copperhead bone', the same as on the #76 Outlaw at the time. This particular model is a second due to a slightly blemished pin. You may be able to make out the "S" stamp on the pile side stamp.
