Mr. Flaherty, That is excellent work!! I love the shape and the use of A2 Tool steel. I need that beast! Please put me on the list for one in Carbon fiber and thumbstud.
Thanks,

The latest two look great Ron!!!

Can't wait for when my name on the list comes up. :)
Hopefully it will be soon

.

I would like one like the original but with black micarta.
If you are taking orders put me on the list please.

Charlie Mike pointed me to this thread, I'm looking for my first custom folder, something that I will take pride in owning and be proud to put to use.
These pieces look great! I'm very interested in purchasing one. What can I do to make that happen?
:thumbup:for a great looking knife at a great price!

I just realized you are in Louisville...I'll be in the area over Derby weekend(not for the Derby, but visiting friends and family)

Woohoo! Ron just offered me a lefty version in red micarta! I don't want to steal his thunder, but the pics he sent me look great. As a lefty, I had all but given up on liner locks once I sold my Kershaw Random Task a while back. Little did I imagine ever finding an affordable handmade one.

I'll be sure to post pics/thoughts when it gets here.

I finally came up on the list and should have my knife next week sometime. Very basic, very plain, but mine will be S30V blade with titanium liners, linerlock and green micarta handles. Low key. It was a tough choice because Ron offered me an A-2 liner lock with orange G-10 and SS bolsters as well as a MONSTER framelock. It was hard to pass on the framelock, but I have a feeling I did the right thing with the LL I'll be getting. Pics and review will be posted.

Ron just gave me the thumbs-up to post the pics that he sent me of the LH Model 1. I will post more pics when it gets here later this week/weekend.

I just got my folder today. I will have a full review in the next couple weeks, but first impressions are that it is bigger and heavier than I expected, and a hell of a value for $125! lol It isn't perfect, but the majority of the "problems" I see have more to do with fit and finish than function and Ron's work is just going to get better and better and better. Like I said, I'll post a full review when I have spent more time with the knife. The hardest thing for me was choosing which one I wanted... Ron sent me photos of 3 knives, I made my choice, then he sent me a 4th choice. It was tough, but I went with an S30V blade with thumb disc, black G-10 scales and SS bolsters with Ti liners. It has a hidden pivot bolt. Here are some preliminary pics:

Sorry about the weird angle on that one...

Tradja, that looks like it has a bit shorter blade, or maybe I just can't tell from the pic? Looks great, I would love to have 3" blade to conform to our murky laws though.

It might just be the pic. The specs that Ron provided indicate that it is a 3.5" blade:

Red Left-Handed Folder
Red G10
Blade: A2 Steel 3/16" thick 3 1/2" long Blade Flat Ground
Aluminum Bolsters
1/4" Pivot
Tip Up Carry
Deep Carry Pocket Clip
.063 Ti Liners
8 1/2" OAL
Paul Bos Heat Treat

I really loved the first one, but Ron's work has been evolving quite quickly into even more beautiful work. I think the tan canvas Micarta is still my favorite.

Keep up the great work Ron

I have a orange liner lock on from Ron on the way and I am really excited to get it. Ron is a great guy and went out of his way to help me.
