I'd do it, but looks like you're way ahead of me in line.
 
I will be waiting for a while longer. Order 6101 place on June 11th. Still, I know it will soon be in my grubby mitts.
 
I wonder if the first digit is the month and the last 3 are the number ordered that month, i.e., mine is the 101st order in June. Hmmm...

Even if you're not at the very, very top of the list, your knife is next up for production which means you'll have a fun, new toy way before the folks who ordered a model later in line.

Nice connection with the order numbers, but I had an order from May that started with a 6 and one from August also starting with a 6!

I don't think that's the way the order number works Blue. I ordered a GSO 12 on Feb 2nd and my order number is 7804..... I hope that's not the 7,804th GSO 12 ordered....
 
I ordered mine in Dec (yeah yeah, I know) but my order # is 7*** so I'm not sure it's a month then which number in line.

So it looks like ~2000 of these bad boys were ordered?

I didn't think S!K was moving that kind of weight. If so, hats off and congrats Guy, Ellie, et al!
 
The order number is just the next number in line. With this website I believe we started at 4000 since the last website ended somewhere in the 3000s. I just checked, this website has been taking orders since Jan 12, 2015. So since then we have had almost 4000 orders, minus a few numbers skipped by the system for some reason. That includes everything the system considers an order: patches, knives, resharpening orders I remembered to put in the system, my test orders.
