Recommendation? Guardian Tactical Conix Framelock Carbon Fiber GT82111 Any thoughts

Youtube ZT knives test. Dozens of unsharp or weak steel lately its been proven to be a concern. I understanding liking a brand but facts are facts.
Lion steel knives look gorgeous but so many parts and not great when tested to holding up. I did consider lionsteel the new flippers look amazing if I was buying 4 knives it would most likely B the 5th. Downside is too many weak parts and slippery handle. Kershaw is not my thing sorry. Low end steel and no wow factor. Walmart special. Goes with the trailer and 9 kids i guess heheh

Since, you're a 'chick' :)

Why not look at the bladeshow quality award winner this year -> 2018 Manufacturing Quality Award – Lionsteel
They make some bad-ass looking stuff, which imho also often looks a bit feminine. (Maybe I just don't like so much bling, but you know, this is from the same country that invented Ferrari's)

If I was spending up to $500 on a new knife, I'd be wanting to hear every opinion and every option available before I pull the trigger. Shoot, I can barely spend $150 without second, third, and fourth guessing myself.
Im not buying multiple knives just not in the budget 1 a year maybe. So thanks, im just hearing out the feedback. Wasn't familiar with the Guardian but looked cool to me

1) there is nothing “ew” about Kershaw. Maybe not the price points you’re looking at, but they make plenty of good knives.
2) If ZT doesn’t come as sharp as you’d like you can sharpen it.
3) AFAIK, there’s nothing wrong with their steel. Good steels, and good HT.

1- Mentioning Kershaw in this thread of knives is like comparing a Bentley to a Hyundai just not a comparable conversation. Obviuosly you did but its just not a logical conversation. It lacks depth to comparative items and shows a lack of understanding even to a beginner knife lover as myself. Live and learn
2- You question is actually answered in your comment. Any knife over 2 or 3 hundred dollars the consistently needs sharpening there a problem. Maybe your used to buying Kershaws LOL
3-ZT is having an issue check a dozen video tests on youtube not my opinion fact. Its ok to still love them and support them just dont be blinded by the mistakes.

Well considering yesterday it was a Koenig vs. A brous and a Begg mini glimpse, I suggested a Reate K1 to kind of bring together what I saw as the best qualities of all 3...

Today, still a Koenig, but now the brous is gone and the mini has been upgraded to a full sized glimpse, plus you added in a guardian and a reate (horizen), so it seems to me like you really want the Koenig, but are trying to talk yourself out of it with all these other knives...

In any case, they're all quality makers though, Guardian and Koenig are USA made, which matters to some over Reate and Begg which are high end made in China, but seriously, just pick the one YOU like most, as all 4 are solid choices...

Personally, I'd save up just a bit extra and go with an Olamic Swish. BladeHQ has a pair of blue ti handled ones; one black washed one satin finished, both ELMAX steel.... That or Wayfarer 247?
Actually one of my favorite knives is the Reate horizon carbon was actually my first choice. Its just way overpriced now and not worth the money in comparison with better higher end knives. 300 350 all day. Not 500-600

I just recommend knives as I see fit for each situation :)

In a group of enthusiast and knowledgable knife conosures its laughable. If your a comedian its funny if your serious you need to educate yourself so your recomendations have value and dont sound so off the planet

Knife Connoisseurs... Just saying, if you are going to completely dismiss (and then insult) another persons opinion on a public forum to attempt to sound more educated and informed then they are, you should probably do so with the proper spelling of big words...

I have plenty of perspective. I suspect that many beginning knife lovers, such as yourself, view the knife world in black and white terms such as "this company is bad, but this company is good." The fact that you simply dismiss a company as being "ew" because they aren't in the $400-600 market speaks to you being a beginning knife lover. It's not black and white. Some knives punch way above their price point, and some are not worth a higher price. It's ok. You're new. You'll learn.

Nothing says hot like a grown woman with a binky....

Or at least the little words...
