Recommendation? Guardian Tactical Conix Framelock Carbon Fiber GT82111 Any thoughts

In a group of enthusiast and knowledgable knife conosures its laughable. If your a comedian its funny if your serious you need to educate yourself so your recomendations have value and dont sound so off the planet

Just coming back to reality for a second... who in the world thinks that as a brand new member and self-admitted newbie to knives, she should just trot in here and start telling long established members how to post. One would think the non-trailer, classier thing to do is have a bit of respect, and observe some level of decorum here. You still have that new member smell. It's not time to get bossy.

I'm pretty sure I have one of those trailer park Kershaws made with that low grade ELMAX steel... smdh?

I bet it does reeeeel gud cuttin' up them mayonnaise and Wonder Bread sammiches.

Edit for clarification-
When i refer to the "non-trailer, classier thing to do" I am referencing stretchy-pants-wife's apparent view of those who life in a trailer. Not my own view.

But yeah, no need to sling mud.

Yes! I don't ever forget where I came from. My parents were poor when they came to this country with my sister and I. We lived happily in a trailer until we could find something better. Now my parents live in their dream house on the Coosa river. Living the American dream baby!

It's one thing to live, or have lived, in a trailer. It's altogether different if it was in a TRAILER PARK!!
I'm a reformed Kershaw addict but still carry my M390 Link!

I grew up in a trailer park, in probably one of the crappiest trailer in the park. Still loved knives, was just limited in what i could afford to my Boy Scout knife and old slipjoints i was given, inherited, or found at a flea market. While i am now more likely to buy something from CAS, Thorburn, Hinderer, Steingass, Diskin, etc., i don't believe there is anything wrong with the knives i had as a kid in the trailer park.

For this set of choices, i would go with the Reate.

If you like the conix, get it. I want a deltrix.

There value holds well over time. The originals even have sub frame locks which now have changed since zt has the patent. So they will cost even more in the near future.

Gt warranty states you have to send it in to be serviced. They don't want anyone taking them apart... Ikbs and all.. So yea it makes sense.

Reate is one of my favorite brands though. I'd get both tbo.

Sometimes you don't get a choice where you live. It's not very different from the people who live in the inner city among the rundown projects, most did not choose to be born or live there. If you haven't lived in such conditions, congratulations, feel good about winning the genetic lottery but don't look down upon those who are less fortunate, especially if they are trying to better their lives.

This can't possibly be anything but a troll looking for reactions. Nobody makes nine grammatical errors in two sentences while simultaneously telling someone to "educate themselves." That must be some sort of record!

Anyway, I have a Guardian Tactical. Great quality without a doubt that you can feel. I can't say anything about their CS though..never had to use it yet.

I have two Kershaw folders which I rate highly.... and wait, wait, I also have two Kai (Kershaw Group or what ?) kitchen knives I rate at the highest. My favourites, actually. I'm doomed : the trailer park is nigh. However, I heartily recommend checking out the Knifemakers Forum because there are such beautiful knives there ! Experience the "can't resist" vibe.
