Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

It's still forecasting rain here tomorrow - all day :( Have to see if they get it wrong  My plans are to head over to Huddersfield again, and possibly visit this nearby museum: http://www.colnevalleymuseum.org.uk/ I'll be carrying some stag ;) Hope everyone has a great weekend

I hope your plans work out for you, Jack. Have a great weekend.

Nope. Just Wigan.

That museum looks really interesting. Anyway tomorrows weather looks pants so at least it's indoors.

Thanks, Harvey! I think so too!
Hope your finger is healing up. Did you super glue it?
Thank you Mark. It is. My experience with knife cuts, is that it hurts more for a few days after, then when they occur. It wasn’t severe enough for super glue. Instead I just used liquid bandage.

donn donn David, Working in a locked unit must have been quite challenging. It will be very interesting to hear your thoughts on the documentary.

Looks like the fun just started at Wigan Central. I, myself, would start with a pint of Dexter (Coconut) Stout. Cheers.

Jack Black Jack Black I can see that cloth weaving is a passion for you. Hope you get a chance for a visit.

Wow that's quite a lot of knife. Great comparison video you've posted there.

Thanks for posting those Harvey, I'll catch up with them tomorrow. I've definately never seen the Henry VIII one. I worked in a secure mental health unit for three years and I've been a staff nurse for almost 10 years now. The more experience I've gained the more I'm convinced that many of the medieval rulers suffered from severe mental health disorders. If you look at the family trees of European royalty there is actually a significant degree of inbreeding. Couple that with the possibility of suspicion and paranoia created by the fragility of some of their regimes and you can see why many of them exhibited unstable behaviour.

Had a great time thanks.

And a half dimple glass. If you'd of been bushwacked with one of these Jack, the damage wouldn't be half as bad.:D

Well actually it would of been exactly 'half' as bad I guess.:D

Thank you, Donn!

I obviously hope for the best outcome and find a way to get you some relief.
Thank you so very much, John!

Dennis, I love the area and it's art/culture. I have not visited there in sometime, and that needs to change.
I still have about 1.5 acres down there, may just head down there before it's all done!:)
Thank you Dennis. Always wishing the best for you.
Thanks again, Harvey! I do appreciate it!:thumbsup:
Thank you :)
Never had to get a 'scope for the pump, although a very close friend had a doc who also wanted to take a closer look by using a 'scope and was dreading the possible outcome. The procedure went very well but he ended up getting 3 stints and a pacemaker. Now, he says feels like was 40 and even though he was scared of it all, he's glad his doc was able to find and take care of the probs. His pacemaker can even be fine-tuned in place using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth (not sure which) which is very cool as they used to had to cut you open to tweak it.
It's remarkable what can be done nowadays and the strides that modern medicine has made.
Thanks for the encouragement, OG! I'm sure they'll get it fixed up!
mitch4ging mitch4ging Dennis I'm hoping your pump issues get sorted out soon and satisfactorily. It is amazing what strides have been made in that field
They can fix it and send you hone in one day!
Thanks, Dwight!

Here's one JohnDF JohnDF should appreciate!:D

Good morning and great weekend guys.
Today I started doing something that might not end well, because I have no experience what I'm doing (nor tools), as you can see from the photo I'm polishing my Pere David and that's what she looks like now!!!:thumbsup:

I very much do appreciate it. I haven't seen a pair of rough stock spurs in years!!! That's so cool that you still have yours. That model 94 looks well-loved and in great condition. Very cool picture, Dennis. Thanks for sharing it.
