I once had a missus who insisted we moved to France. It was a big move for us, and after finding a job and an apartment there, I packed up all our furniture and worldly goods with the help of friends, loaded them into a large removal van, and drove them over with a couple of friends. We arrived at dawn, and the missus, who had travelled over on the train, had already decided she wanted to move back! o_O
:eek:yikes! that's a real bugger.
Fantastic pics Dave, looks like you had a great day :)
Thank you, my friend. :)
As you'd expect in Yorkshire, I came across lots of sheep on my walk on the moors yesterday, but these small Ouessent sheep are unusual
Thanks for the photos of the Wee sheep Jack an interesting breed.:cool:

You've got Mail! A parcel chock full of cool Yorkshire goodies arrived from Jack :cool: Not only a beautiful HB Lambsfoot there were pamphlets on Leeds and the Yorkshire area, a bottle of the famous Henderson's Relish, buttons, pub coasters and even a specialty cushion cover for Linda.:D
This was a gift for winning the Yorkshire day contest, I believe that you will agree with me that Jack is a fine gentleman generous and caring and a good friend to all.
Thank you, Jack  :D

A wonderful prize package Dave! As always there was considerably more in the package than expected! This is something that our friend Jack is well known for! Congratulations again my friend, yours was definitely an ingenious entry and well deserving of the victory! :D

It a beautiful Sunday morning here at the farm. Have a Blessed day Guardians.

Pardon the coffee. I love tea, but it does not jump start my engine like coffee.

Good to see you here Leslie, that's a lovely tranquil scene :) I know what you mean about the coffee, I split tea and coffee about 50-50, but rarely have more than 2 or 3 cups of coffee a day, as I like good strong black coffee, and I get the jitters if I have more than that! :D

All this hiking reminds me of the goat-counting song: "Ar y creigiau geirwon mae'r hen afr yn crwydro". Unfortunately goats don't have lambs.

I had to look that up Jer! :D  When I lived in Lebanon in the 70's, the sheep and goats were so thin and stringy they had a collective name for them (as well as a name for each species)! :D

Thanks for the photos of the Wee sheep Jack an interesting breed.:cool:

Glad you found them of interest Dave, I've never come across that breed before (not that I know much about sheep), figured they were kind of small to have horns! :D

Good Morning Guardians

Nice crisp pic of your Barlow John

I second that John :(

I'll third it, I miss Dwight too :(

I love this picture, Jack. It's so simple but says so much.

Thanks a lot John, it's taken on top of Baildon Hill, where I was yesterday, not particularly high, but it offers great 360 degree views :)

Thanks Ron, hope you had a great day my friend, not everyday you're 65 :) That sure was a great entry of Dave's wasn't it? :)

I didn't have any Sunday Sausage Sandwich suitable bread in, so as I had to go out to get some shopping anyway, I thought I'd call in the pub for a pint and pizza, like you do ;) :D I ordered Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable, which tasted better than it looks, but I don't think I'll be ordering it again

Been beautiful weather here today, much nicer than yesterday, and after getting back from my trip to the shops, I decided to pick some more blackberries. I'll probably leave the rest for the birds now, but I've had a good crop this year. I might even have crumble later ;)

Not so far off, then.

But very wholesome.
I have to get wholesome again. My shirts are shrinking.

From these incredible group shots I see I have lots of catching up to do!

Great picture, Vince.
Thanks, fellers!
It reminds me of a Dwight picture. I miss @Fodderwing
Me too, John. I think last time he posted he said he has been very busy lately and not the multi-tasker he used to be. Hope he's okay.

When I go out for a hike, particularly in the cooler months, I like to stop and make coffee. I'm a coffee snob though, and haven't drank instant coffee for decades. I tried various methods out in the woods, but I recently saw someone suggest coffee bags as an easier alternative to fresh coffee. I think I tried these once in the late 70's, but hadn't tried them since. I managed to find some online made by Taylor's of Harrogate, and being familiar with their Hot Lava Java blend, thought I'd give them a try. Have to say I'm disappointed, even a slug of Jameson's couldn't make this good coffee :( Does anyone else have any experience of these?
