Sorry, I should have been more clear in my post. I was referring to reports of badly bent blades and other fit/finish issues. I actually don't mind lesser quality stag as it all looks good to me, and those models are still quite more affordable than other knives with stag covers from other makers. I have no stag in my collection yet and I already need another Lambsfoot

I've been checking in here all week to see what others have to say, but I haven't been able to make time to make any contributions of my own since last weekend. And I'm here just briefly tonight; I hope to do some "serious" catch-up tomorrow afternoon. Two quick things for now:
1) Has anyone heard from Chin lately? Is he on a walk-about and I just didn't realize it?
2) I've shoveled snow for at least an hour almost every day this week, so I can't help but be in a festive holiday mood! It's time for me to post another lambsfoot holiday picture. It's my rosewood lambsfoot lounging in a Fraser Fir:

Fellow Guardians, the indexing effort is well under way. The first 25 40 pages of posts are complete and the index itself begins in the following post.

A huge thank you to the intrepid @Jack Black for being the first volunteer to aid in the effort. In addition to indexing several pages of posts, he's also test-driven the instructions for volunteers and provided valuable insight into the index sections and their arrangement.

We still have 130+ pages to go and I am looking for more volunteers to help. What indexing involves is reading through one or more pages of the thread and using a shorthand I've developed to take notes about which posts should be included in the index and under which sections they should be included. I've found this to be a fun way to revisit old posts. There are some real gems in here!

Hey GT Yes, a busy time for most of us I think I was also wondering about Chin @Cambertree , it's summer in Australia, so I figured he was out in the bush, but I checked his profile a few days ago, and he has been online, just not here in The Porch. I might check again now. Hoping he's well, and that we'll see him soon
