Now that is my kind of lambsfoot.

"dhania" sounds right, Jack.
Thanks for the details about ordering a pint and a half, and about Lister engines. :)
As always, thanks for the encouragement regarding my knives. :)
The name seems unusual, but there was definitely 1 gato that seemed to be a fixture behind the bar, and maybe there were others lurking about! ;)

I always enjoy our exchanges my friend :)

Jack, your award-winning HHB with the whale in the top hat reminded me of perhaps my favorite James Herriot Yorkshire veterinarian story, "The Bull with the Bowler Hat"!:D

I'm afraid I haven't read that Gary, but I'm grateful for the compliment :)

Black Jack again, looking quite "fly", as the guys cooler than me used to say in the inner city back in the 1970s:

You're a fly guy GT! :D :)

Meat pies. Empanadas. Close enough.

LOL! :D Fab pic Rachel :D

I believe that thing the say about “Great minds” just may be true Jack! ;) :D

:D ;)

Ron & John & Jack remind us again that 2019 was a remarkable Year of the Lambsfoot!:cool::thumbsup:

When it comes to the Lambsfoot, I’m afraid we may never see another year like 2019 Gary!

That's the truth. What a great year it was.:thumbsup:

I had hoped we might have many such years :( 2019 certainly was a great year to look back on though :)

This Lamb with me today.

Very nice Dave :)

Mexican Cuisine is hot stuff all around the planet. I know a man that owns a Avocado Orchard here in S Cal and the major of his crop is being bought for Mexican food in Asia. Try the Mexican black beans which are from the middle & southern parts instead of the Sonoran/Texican Pinto beans, if you haven’t already... Enjoy!

I agree! Not afraid to roll up their sleeves & get in the heat of the kitchen and cook delicious foods!

Thanks for the recommendation Laurence :) I had black beans, but just a small portion on the side. I ordered a tasting platter, with a lot of different things to try out. Everything was absolutely delicious :)

I think I've had Mexican food at least four nights this week. And also for breakfast on Sunday.

Good choice Vince :D

Nothing beats a good Breakfast Burrito. I like them with bacon or Sausage, I’ll pass on Chorizo thank you! Fried Taters, Onions, Eggs a few slices of Avocado and a tad of Salsa! I know I forget the bell peppers , I like them but they don’t like me!

You guys are making me hungry again! :D

Hail Britannia!

Hope it's an interesting read Vince

That Harrison Bros. is one of my three favorite knives in this thread Ed. Along with...

Jack's Unity

And Harry's TEW.

My Unity thanks you for the high praise Christian :)

Morning Guardians, hope everyone has had a good week, with a nice weekend to look forward to :)

Good Morning Guardians
Yesterday was such a beautiful day...

That's good to hear John, nice sunny day here too, though a bit windy :)

Nice tool kit, Jack.
Is that something you keep in your pack?

I agree. Very nice kit there. Could we maybe get an exploded view. There's a couple of things I don't recognize. Obviously you should include your hhb...

Thanks guys, for someone that does as little around the house as I do these days I could probably get by with a handful of tools. Instead, I have five or six tool-chests  For maybe 80% of the jobs I do, I find that this wee kit, plus a hammer, is all I need. I keep it in the kitchen drawer, and go there first when a job needs doing, before getting my tool boxes out. It's also something I grab when helping people out, just in case they don't have any tools. I'm afraid the pics aren't very good as the winter sun is currently streaming through my windows, but if you click on the pics they'll expand. The red-handled object is a gimlet, and the one on the far right of the first pic is an inspection flashlight/emergency flasher. Got an automatic centre-punch I mean to add, together with a note-book

I don't know how everyone feels, but for me, January has really FLOWN! I'm finding it hard to believe it's February 1st tomorrow, and I'll be turning a page on my calendar :)

It's not just you. Time flies. Tomorrow is my daughter's tenth birthday. Just eight more years left to gather the King's Ransom they want for a college education these days.

Where have the years gone? My little girl went from this.

Obviously her tastes have gotten more sophisticated. ;)

Please forgive the small bit of non-lambsfoot content. I'll remove it in a bit, I just wanted to show it for illustrative purposes.
