Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Well, I guess we're doing multiple Lambs now. Here's some of my herd.

Outstanding Ed

My herd is small but mighty...

Quality John, and you certainly a unique one in Skol :)

Lots of great pics today! But Dang Jack, I saw the most spectacular looking stag! Can I see the pile side?! What's the story on the Barlow kitty corner to the stage knife? Thanks!

Jack, I just ordered some brew from my favorite "local" brewery. Should be here 1-3 days. A "West Coast" IPA, a Hazy Pale Ale, and a Hazy Double IPA. Hopefully I get them sooner than later. Hope all the Guardians have a wonderful day!

Taylor, I've just had a look, and I'm afraid I don't have a single pile-side pic of this one! Let me go and dig it out, and I'll take a pic for you  It had a loose pin, and a couple of return trips to the factory didn't really sort it out o_O

Do you mean this one Taylor? It was a very kind gift from @bonzodog :) Walnut covers. I don't know the story, but it's anything but standard :)

Congrats on 1900 pages, Jack!! A wonderful and well-kept thread!!:)

Many thanks Charlie :)

Great to have you around Randy, and thanks for dropping in on your fellow Guardians :) Two smashing pics :)

Well, it's nice to know that even this dark cloud has a silver lining ;)
;)
Sorry about that, Rachel. Tough time.
Next year in Jerusalem!
Or at the very least, all in the same room. (Although I will admit, there was far less family conflict and drama this way.) :D

Are we showing off our flocks today?

Jack Black Jack Black - Thank you Jack. Great looking breakfast image. Applause to reaching 1900. Spectacular LF collection. Will require multiple viewings.

Half/Stop Half/Stop Thank you Ron. Fine image of your most elegant Rosewood Hartshead.

@Onebigbill - Much thanks, Bill. Hope you’re well, too. Gorgeous Sambar on your Hartshead. Love the color.

JohnDF JohnDF - Thank you kindly, John. The scallops on the pocket sheath are mesmerizing. When are you hanging your shingle?:) Lines are forming. (6 feet apart, of course)

I’m with you, John. Even during this long, scary moment, my glass remains half full.

Good Afternoon Guardians. Be Safe.

Well, last time I was reading posts from this thread, there was lots of "boots talk". That doesn't seem to be a current topic anymore, but no one has ever accused me of being a with-it, up-to-date, hep-cat, current kind of guy, so I'm going to post a couple of pics of my lambsfoot carry this week, LamBarJack, with my most recent boots. I ordered these made-in-China boots from Tractor Supply on January 2 or 3 this year. I've been VERY happy with them so far!:thumbsup: They felt good from Day 1, and the only breaking-in I dealt with was deciding how to tie them. The laces on the very top pair of loops seem to cut into the front of my ankles if I tie the knot at the top, but I've been quite pleased with doing the top loops first and the next-to-top pair last, and placing the knot farther down toward my foot. Good firm sole, but still enough flex to be comfortable for miles at a time. I have over 600 miles on them already, and they still look good as new: the treads are hard enough to not wear away immediately (even with most of my miles on concrete sidewalks) and the inner soles and liners show no wear yet. They're waterproof, but in snowy or rainy weather, I usually wear a pair of 4" high stretch rubber "galoshes" over the boots.
