Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Well, last time I was reading posts from this thread, there was lots of "boots talk". That doesn't seem to be a current topic anymore, but no one has ever accused me of being a with-it, up-to-date, hep-cat, current kind of guy, so I'm going to post a couple of pics of my lambsfoot carry this week, LamBarJack, with my most recent boots. I ordered these made-in-China boots from Tractor Supply on January 2 or 3 this year. I've been VERY happy with them so far!:thumbsup: They felt good from Day 1, and the only breaking-in I dealt with was deciding how to tie them. The laces on the very top pair of loops seem to cut into the front of my ankles if I tie the knot at the top, but I've been quite pleased with doing the top loops first and the next-to-top pair last, and placing the knot farther down toward my foot. Good firm sole, but still enough flex to be comfortable for miles at a time. I have over 600 miles on them already, and they still look good as new: the treads are hard enough to not wear away immediately (even with most of my miles on concrete sidewalks) and the inner soles and liners show no wear yet. They're waterproof, but in snowy or rainy weather, I usually wear a pair of 4" high stretch rubber "galoshes" over the boots.

The boots look good to me and the HHB is great.

Hello Guardians on this Good Friday morning . It’s a little after 7 am here. I just went out ,half asleep , to take our puppy outside that was whining in his crate.
What’s up with the WHITE STUFF
Please let no one utter the “s” word :D

Yikes! We sometimes snow here at Easter Dan, sometimes the first snowfall of the year  Nice sunny day here, hope I get to see just a little of it, nearly 2.00pm here and I've not had a chance to go out yet o_O

LOL! We were in the Boot Inn in Chester, and my mate took his phone out his pocket to actually turn it off, as per house rules. Quick as a flash the barstaff were on him "turn that phone off!".
And your right about Sam Smith's. After I mentioned them I went on their website to look at what they had in stock. I know their bottled beers are expensive in their pubs but their online shop is a money printing lark!

A mate of mine glanced at his phone in the toilet, and got told off! o_O They are a strange brewery

Bullet dodged... :D

:D

There's some impressive flocks on here I've got to say.
My more modest flock.

Cool pics Dan :D

LOL! :D Fabulous half dozen Rachel :)
Thank you, Jack. It's a small but select flock o' feet, because the big rosewood was a gift and the rest are your SFOs. :D

Happy Good Friday, Guardians. I'm going to make a breakfast of matzo brei, then go for a walk while it's still cool out. That may or may not be all I accomplish today.

Thanks Ron, incredible collection my friend!  Thanks for showing it :)
Thanks for the compliment! :) I'm proud to show them to everyone. Thanks to you Jack, I can honestly say that I have fallen in love with the Lambsfoot! ;) It may not be the ultimate do every thing knife for everyone. For me, at the present time, it handles probably 99% of all my daily cutting needs! I really can't think of anything that I've needed to do that one of my Lambsfoot knives would not do! They are a very attractive pattern to look at! They are pocket and hand friendly in a way that is very appealing to me. This does not mean that I'm going to rush and get rid of all my other knives. We all know that is not how it works! But, on any given day, there will always be at least one Lambsfoot in my pocket! :D

Thanks guys, I'm touched :( Sad though, that there won't be any Guardians knives this year :(
It is sad Jack. :( However, I'm happy and fortunate to have the ones you've already provided my friend! :)

Morning Guardians, hope everyone is hale and hearty :) I usually go out to the small hilltop village of Heptonstall on Good Friday for the annual Pace Egg play, a good hike, and a pint or two. I'm disappointed not to be able to go today, particularly with the good weather we have at the moment. I carried Lucy last year, and thought I would again today. Have a good day Guardians, and stay safe

Good Morning Guardians
and Happy Good Friday to you all.

Hope you're having a good day John

That sounds nice Rachel, I hope you enjoyed it :) I had a short walk myself, just round the block, with a few long-distance chats with various neighbours, then sat out in the garden for an hour. I did some housework, put new tubes on my slingshot, with the help of Lucy, and I am just having an afternoon cup of tea :) Hope everyone is having a nice day

That is very gratifying to hear Ron :) On the occasions I do use another blade, I am often struck with the thought that my Lambsfoot could have accomplished the same task better ;) :D
