Tasty sausage sammiches... and beautiful Lamb.:thumbsup:

Thanks John!

I like their bacon cheeseburger pasty, which they called the “Royale with Cheese.” :D

Yeah. I reckon you could make some money selling them in Cornwall.:D:thumbsup:

Strangely, yes, I think I might even have met one of his descendents, who was actually from Wigan. I forget where I first came across Thomas Burke, it wasn't in Leigh, as I've never been there. I think it was in a seaside hotel, which he had apparently stayed at a few times, and they had a few pictures of him :D Nice to see you got your sausage sandwiches mate :)

Crikey, what a small world then. He's one of those forgotten stars of yesteryear.

The wind always blows to the East in my garden, but after I got the fire blowing it decided to blow to the North West, and was getting pretty gusty o_O

Aye same here Jack, and it ruined the evening didn't it. :(

Looking good David! A Happy Easter to you! :D

Thanks Ron.

I don't know what they are but they look delicious! :)

Sad to see that Honor Blackman passed away last week, at the grand old age of 94 :(

Absolutely Jack. A beautiful woman...and that voice....

We experienced a very stormy evening yesterday. We have had possibly 8 tornadoes in my area. We’ve got over 60,000 without power in one neighboring county and five confirmed fatalities in another. :( Our power was out from 11:00 pm until 3:30 am. Luckily our home was spared. They are still surveying all the damage in my county, but I know my county has over 3500 without power! We spent several hours in our basement with our bicycle helmets on! I’ve seen the destruction from these storms before and they are not to be taken lightly! Stay safe my friends. :)

Storms were very bad here in the South. At least 18 dead, hundreds of homes and businesses destroyed, a million or more without power. Bad all around. Glad you all are safe.

Crikey chaps sounds serious! Hope you all safe.
Certainly something we don't have to worry about in the UK.

Who Knew????? UPS delivers take-out!! They dropped off my breakfast, lunch, and dinner last Friday. It's enough to last me through the month of June. Yummy!!!

I never knew Nestle were involved in that sort of thing.

I was trying to find something Apollo 13 related but couldn't.

We call those L-shaped or stirrup shaped, smooth-edged or serrated, manual weed whackers "grass whips". That goes way back for me, so it's Upper Mohawk dialect of yore.

Too dark for pictures this morning, and I never have much luck with artificial light, as the following picture will illustrate, but speaking of the Mohawk:

Hey, page 1911! Somebody should post a lambsfoot and Colt before it's too late.

Good idea Jer! :)

Thanks Jack! I’m glad I didn’t mess up!  :D

It’s not been that long at all Jack! I guess people are just realizing what a good thing they had been missing out on. :)

LOL! No, that was all me Ron! :D  Yeah, I don't recall too many folks trying out a Lambsfoot, and not liking it :)

Thanks Jack! I know your Unity is a beauty my friend! I’m not seeing some people’s photos this morning, but it’s probably got something to do with my internet!

Thanks pal, that's terrible! I'm glad you and Pam are safe, but I sure feel sorry for those worse affected. We get a lot of rotten weather here, but it never gets THAT rotten! :(

Gracias Harvey !
As I try to wake up and start my work day from home at the computer my youngest is already going at it with her violin .... I hear a Bach partita coming from the basement where she practices :) ... I wish I had half her energy :)

Thanks Jack, I am going to need to walk double the distance now to burn the extra carbs :) .... and get double the pictures lol

Good morning Guardians !

I wish I had half YOUR energy Dan! :D Great pic buddy

Beautiful colours Dwight :) It sure is great having you around :)

Yay! Thanks, Jack!

Yes, maybe two mentions and a rub of a magic lambsfoot will wake him from his BF slumber. I hope he’s doing OK and just busy as he gets from time to time.

Yeah, me too Greg, I hope he's not been carried off by dingoes or holed-up in a shack with a tin bucket on his head! ;) :D

Thanks, Jack. Good luck catching up with your work.

Stay safe, folks. I hope some little bright sides and unexpected joys make an appearance in everyone’s weeks.

Thanks Greg, I've been working solidly until 8.00pm. Just stopped for a cuppa, a biscuit, and a catch-up ;)

At least there are several beauties like yours in circulation here for us all to admire.

Here's a nice William Rodgers Charlie sent me :)

Good Morning Guardians
I don't have much to do today
I'm already prepped for the coming week
Classes don't start until tomorrow, so it'll be a 'blah' Monday

Good for you John, planning ahead ;) Nice clean shot of your Lambsfoot :)

Thank Greg and John! :) We were fortunate this time. But we've still got that darn virus to worry about! :(

Talk about, 'When it rains, it pours'! o_O

Be cautious... Not afraid. :)

Which famous science fiction character said that?! ;)

Very sorry to hear that Les, terrible :( Stay safe buddy

Crikey, what a small world then. He's one of those forgotten stars of yesteryear.

Isn't it just?! I'd have certainly never heard of him otherwise

Aye same here Jack, and it ruined the evening didn't it. :(

Yep :(

Absolutely Jack. A beautiful woman...and that voice....

Yes indeed :)

Generous sausage helping my friend :) Great tea, and al fresco ;) I missed the whole afternoon and early evening working unfortunately :( Still no sign of my beer either! Have a good evening David

Aye us pie eaters never skimp on sausage. :D
Hopefully the beer hold up is nothing more than the usual Easter hiatus.
Have a good evening yourself.

LOL! :D Hope so  Ta mate

Thank you, Jack. :)
I figured it was a plain and unexciting picture, kinda like my Monday. :D

Now I'm wracking my brain... :(

Words to live by, my friend.:thumbsup:

That's not a bad Monday John ;)

LOL! :D

Thanks Jack. I found it really excelled at spreading when I flipped it around and used the spine. Edge for slicing, spine for spreading ;)

Definitely Mike, using the nose keeps the point out of the way

Solid and reliable my friend

Thanks Jack! I was just having a conversation with Harry @Old Engineer about the virtues of a good sturdy Lambsfoot for everyday use! I’m thankful we made it okay. We had no damage to our property either. Just sitting here watching the local news and it terrible some of the damage and loss of life. Your William Rodgers is an outstanding knife. It came from an outstanding gentleman I might add. The TEW is a good solid knife. It’s not the best looking example I’ve got but it is definitely reliable. One good thing it’s old enough to have a carbon blade! :)

I feel like I'm living in a gourmet restaurant, I get so many good meals. My wife made pork scallopini (we didn't have veal):
2bRAzEt.jpg

(There's my lambsfoot barlow, by the Mouton Cadet, of course). She's a wonderful cook. I helped a little--I put a salad together and poured the wine!

Prester John Prester John You’re living the good life Vince! It’s like I told Pam, we’re eating meals we would have to go to a fancy (southern for gourmet) restaurant to get. But we know the cooks! :D
You should taste her Chicken Fried Steak!
You know, that old song was wrong--the one that said: "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, Never make a pretty woman your wife, So from my personal point of view, Get an ugly girl to marry you"! I'm very happy with a beautiful gal that can cook like Julia Child, Emeril Lagasse, and Justin Wilson! :)
