Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Nice photos Greg. Are those limes or lemons?

Those are Meyer Lemons that aren't ripe yet. The limes are one tree over to the right. :)

Just BBQ and Beer.

That's right up my alley, John. Have a safe trip and and wonderful time!

Well y’all knew it had to happen! ;) Food photos! :D

Dang, Ron. I just finished lunch and now you're making me hungry all over. Looks like a fantastic, satisfying meal. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day, and maybe a nap, which is what I'd need after that. :D

Mine too! :D I once heard a schoolteacher refer to a pupil as "over-nourished"

:D :D

One of my beers from last night :)

It’s been years since I’ve had anything from Anchor, but I remember them making some decent stuff.

That looks like great coffee mate :) I had an accident yesterday when a flask of good hand-ground coffee leaked in my (otherwise empty) rucsac. I've sponged it down a couple of times, and left it to dry in the bathroom, but now my bathroom smells of coffee  I'm going to be getting some strange looks the next time I use the sack! :D

I mean, as bathroom smells go, that doesn’t sound all that bad… ;) :D

I've been enjoying this the past couple of nights

UktrTe3.jpg

That’s another series I’ve been meaning to watch, just haven’t gotten there yet. :D I first read the book as part of a course I took in college.

That's one of the most unusual Lambsfoot knives I think I've ever seen Harvey, Shadow-pattern with shield and easy-open notch  Are those Bexoid scales? I would have bought it too Harvey, just too darned interesting to pass up  Looks like it's only had very light use too

That certainly is a unique Lambsfoot. I like it! :D

Nice keychain, Jack! Now we just need to teach you how to Call the Hogs! ;) :D

Oh yeah our population is quite concentrated into three areas. Greater London, the West Midlands centred around the city of Birmingham, and then the north-west of England and across the Pennines and up the spine of the south Pennines from South Yorkshire into West Yorkshire.
What is today being referred to as the Liverpool/Leeds conurbation. Between 3500-5000 people per sq/km. I live in the red bit just below the 'n' of Wigan.
FeJnt8D.png

But I have mates who live in Ryedale, North Yorkshire and their population density is 76 per sq/km. Where my sister lives up near the Scottish Border it's 8.

Yeah, I’ve never felt more in-the-way in my life than I did in London. :D After London, I think the most densely populated place I’ve been in England was The Sheffield Tap when Jack and I stopped in for one last pint before I caught my train down to Bath. The place was packed like a sardine can! :D

After mentioning that in my post the other day, I spent some time looking at a couple lists of countries and cities ranked by their population density. The numbers at the top of the lists gave me anxiety!

I'm just sampling one of the beers I got from the Saltaire Brewery the other day ;)

This was the first song that came to my mind when I saw that beer. :D

Here's another, more recent song by my favorite band, Old Crow Medicine Show. (Not their best, in my opinion, but not bad.)

I’ve been through Amarillo several times driving from Arizona to Arkansas and back. I looked through my phone (you can view photos by location on a map, which is convenient) to see if I had taken any pictures there, but this was all I had, the sun coming up just outside Amarillo.

(Talk about population density… :D)

Lambsfoot content: a quick pic I took of my Rosewood Lambsfoot this morning.

Thanks Greg! It was extremely satisfying. No luck with the nap yet! :)

I had caught up and had comments made, and I lost them somehow. I'll try again later, so many great photos and posts. Keeping with the food theme...a little peach pie for dessert!:)

So annoying when that happens Dennis! :( That peach pie looks good though, as does your Lambsfoot :)

It’s been years since I’ve had anything from Anchor, but I remember them making some decent stuff.

I think the first I had was their Steam Beer Barrett - a very long time ago! :D

I mean, as bathroom smells go, that doesn’t sound all that bad… ;) :D

I think HBO had it free this weekend

Thanks buddy! :D ;) Great link! :D

Thanks Barrett, those are a LOT better! :)

That's really looking good my friend :)

You too, Jack, and Happy Father's Day!
Enjoying British spirits today: Beefeater right now, and a little Balvenie 14 year old single malt ("Peat Week") tonight.

Thanks a lot buddy :) I had a couple of beers with my pal earlier, but then lost the taste, so I'm just having some Yorkshire tea ;) Enjoy your Scotch :)

Thank you and happy Father’s Day Jack
( Jack aka Father Guardian  )

Thank you very much Dan :D

Thank you my friend, I thought I'd have another ;)
Hope it soothes the Soul as it shakes your thirst.

I've not seen anything like them before.
Thank you David. Me too. I was shy about posting it, because it was so odd. What a splendid array of nice images.

Why does that remind me of hell?
Because it is.:D

Great photo of a nice knife.
Thank you Bill.

mine's shaping up just great.
There’s nary a false note with your Hartshead.

At least I'm a stake-holder

Thought I'd have a Double Lambsfoot Day  :)
So many fabulous looks at your Day, today.

Bird watching..... I mean .... Lamb watching
Dan, Splendid outdoor scenes. Could use them to illustrate in an upscale catalogue.

Keeping with the food theme...
Hi Dennis. Love your pie and Lamb Foot image.

That certainly is a unique Lambsfoot. I like it! :D
Thank you Barrett. Excellent sunrise image.

I have a soft spot for shadow patterns.
Thank you Kevin. Your Horn hafted Lamb Foot has such beautiful colors.

Good Evening Guardians Hope everyone’s’ Father’s Day was a pleasant one.

Father’s Day was a most pleasant day. Fresh from the oven, raisin Sourdough loaf and cupcakes. Nothing says loving like fresh from the oven.

Hello to my fellow Guardians, please accept my apologies for being missing in action for so long, i do feel guilty, because i know how much all people of the Lambfoot care and worry about each other. It has been an eventful year for me, i'm fine, but had a good mate who has had a dreadful year and asked for my help. I will always help someone in trouble if i can, and because of where he lives had virtually no internet connection. Also, and this is only my feelings, with all the terrible things that have been happening with corona virus around the world, i did not feel comfortable being online for what is for me after all, a hobby. I felt there was alot more important things happening, and some of the sights i have seen on our news services broke my heart. I cannot imagine what it must be like for all my fellow European, English, American and South American bladeforum members. And with all the violence and looting over the past month, i just felt there were other things that took priority, i hope you all understand. On a brighter note, i am well and in good health, and received a reminder email this morning that my gold membership is due, so i took that as Karma and a message that it was time to get back on the forum, so here i am. Hope you are all well, and not spending too much dosh on knives, though i know that is a wasted sentiment, o course you are. I have not bought any knives, but in my travels around the bush i have managed to pick up some sharpening equipment to add to my already surplus needs, i seem to have an incurable addiction to sharpening stuff. Good to be back, and take care everyone.

Very cool, Harvey.
I have a soft spot for shadow patterns.

Thanks, my friend.
He is my version of your pic. ;):D

I had long hoped to get a Shadow pattern Lambsfoot made, though though very different in style - I'll not post further details, as sadly, not everyone who browses these pages does so with good intentions :(

Cool tribute pic Kevin :)

Now you're talking! Although, when it comes to bottles of Tapatío, I favor the big 'un. :D

Edit: actually, 10 oz is the medium 'un. I'd forgotten for a moment that they make a 32 oz and just discovered that they also sell 1 gallon jugs. But that's OK, that's a medium 'un lambsfoot, too. :p
xPZo3Bzh.jpg

I've not had Tapatio, how does it compare to Tabasco?

It was a wonderful and relaxing time. :)

Great to hear John, I know you've been spending a lot of time at the chalk-face lately ;) :)

Hope it soothes the Soul as it shakes your thirst.

Great to see you here mate, and to know that you are OK :) Certainly been one heck of a year o_O

Good Morning Guardians, it sounds like many of you had a very special day yesterday :) The weekend is over, but I don't have any work on today - sure I can find some, or it'll find me  I have more beer deliveries coming, stocking up in case there's another Beerpocalypse! Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start, stay safe out there Guardians :)

My Hartshead Barlow opened a fresh pack of Feathers for my morning shave :)
